Our first project with Steve was a renovation of a kitchen and several small projects in our previous home. He had been referred by several of our neighbors who raved about their experiences with him. Guided by Steve, we added new life to a kitchen that had started to feel outdated. Based on this positive experience, we were quick to hire Steve again when we purchased a seasonal camp on Lake Champlain with the goal to make it our year-round home. This project involved a complete renovation and extensive site work. Steve and his son Sean helped us develop a vision of the home we could create and then turned that vision into reality that kept elements of the historic charm of the house while giving us the comforts of a modern home. As with our first project with Steve, the quality of the work was exceptional and we always trusted that Steve had a sense of the details that would make the difference in the end. We also greatly appreciated our regular communication with both Steve and Sean. We always felt their commitment to understanding what we wanted and to be honest with us at all times. In fact, every member of crew reflected these same values, a true testament to how Steve and Sean approach their work. Whenever we talk to others thinking of a home renovation project, we always suggest Sorrell Construction so that other can have the same great experience we’ve had. **★★★★★ — m\_lapierre, Aug. 2016** > Steve Sorrell did a complete redesign of our kitchen, which involved gutting three rooms to expand a tiny kitchen, changes to windows and floor leveling. He installed new Maple floors, Cherry cabinets, and granite countertops and it is GORGEOUS! Steve handled the design through the execution, supervising everything. Steve and his crew are fast, clean, conscientious and courteous and really know their stuff. Extremely reliable as well. We've also had him redo the drainage system at the back of the house, and again, it was a flawless project. He had to remove the old deck, excavate the yard, build part of a foundation wall, install new drainage, regrade the yard and build a new deck.
