**★★★★★ — HU-386957650, Dec. 2020**

> We have worked with Peter of Bespoke Architecture on various projects over the course of ten years. from his brilliant, clean solutions for a small 400 square-foot one-bedroom to his elegant sense and attention to detail for renovations of a 5000 square-foot brownstone, peter has always been a great, calm and innovative problem solver with a keen sense of appropriate design. From the smallest of details to the overarching design and all in between, peter is always there for us: patient, kind and respectful...whom we can fully and happily depend on.

**★★★★★ — HU-793503217, Dec. 2020**

> Bespoke Architecture epitomizes how the architecture process should be. Peter Holtzman, principle architect for our kitchen remodel, was creative, knowledgeable, attentive, efficient and always ready to address unexpected complications. He is extremely knowledgable about building structures and design, and consistency suggests multiple solutions to complex problems. He is very responsive and an excellent communicator. He provided excellent ideas, always attentive to budget constraints and concerns, and kept the process simple and painless. And, we worked from different cities for most of the project. We will work again with Peter a on all future projects. Excellent choice and super professional team. Thanks Bespoke Architecture!

**★★★★★ — JIm Shapiro, Dec. 2020**

> Peter worked with us to add a balcony and stairs and open up the back of a townhouse with more glass in Harlem. He managed the project from beginning to end, through landmarks approvals, permitting, supervising the contractor and signing off on the completed job. In a couple of instances, Peter came up with exceptionally creative ideas (how to hang the window boxes on the outside of the balcony railing; how to maximize storage in the renovated master bedroom). It came out beautifully and the inevitable unexpected problems were handled calmly and professionally. Peter is a steady hand to guide any project and I would recommend him without hesitation.

**★★★★★ — Ann Hamm, Nov. 2020**

> I was nervous because this was the first time I’d used an architect, fearing I’d be taken advantage of. After researching, conferring with others I felt comfortable with my decision to use his services. Peter provided an architectural rendering of the job, which entailed moving the entire kitchen from one floor level to another; he also served as the expediter on this job, which proved to be an invaluable piece, as the construction contractor was dragging things along. Peter was also very patient and considerate after I asked for changes to the rendering, charging just a small fee. I am quite pleased with his work and would recommend him to anyone that is looking for a no nonsense, efficient architect.

**Comment from Bespoke Architecture, PLLC:**

> Thank you so much, Ann! I'm glad I could reassure you as well as design you a great space. I hope you enjoy it for years to come.

**★★★★★ — demetraspil, Nov. 2020**

> Very pleasant, responsive and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure working with them and would do it again in a minute.

**Comment from Bespoke Architecture, PLLC:**

> Thank you! Your place looks great, and it was a pleasure working with you as well. I look forward to our next project!

**★★★★★ — JIm Shapiro, Oct. 2020**

> Our project started with the need to replace a roof. Peter helped us add a beautiful front porch and deck and alter the roofline (by adding rakes at the gable ends). His suggestion to add the rakes added tremendously to the esthetics of the end result. He was incredibly diligent in developing the final drawings and quite flexible working with our contractor to make sure he built to the specs.

**Comment from Bespoke Architecture, PLLC:**

> Thanks Jim, I'm so glad you are pleased! It's always gratifying to have repeat clients.

**★★★★★ — Brownstone gut renovation, Oct. 2020**

> Peter Holtzman of Bespoke Architecture is a unique combination of architect, pragmatist, and NYC building code guru. Working with him saved me a lot of time and money because he knows the Building Code well-enough that he designs things that will get approved by NYC. And - if you follow his advice - he makes a lot of recommendations for cost-effective approaches that don't just take into consideration building cost, but ongoing time and maintenance costs. He is more knowledgable about mechanical, plumbing and electric systems than most architects and so the contractors appreciated working with him. Also, he is reliable, smart, and an effective problem solver which made for smooth construction phase. All this and the building and the interiors look great!

**Comment from Bespoke Architecture, PLLC:**

> Wow, all of this is so kind of you to say! I really enjoyed working on your project - it really gave me the chance to integrate all of the systems to make a great project.

**★★★★★ — Mitchell Baker, Oct. 2020**

> Bespoke Architecture designed and supervised a gut bathroom renovation in Manhattan to replace a tub with a smooth floor shower. The age of the building required full replacement of plumbing to modern hardware and code. Peter Holtzman is incredibly bright, expertly navigated the city permitting, the co-op board's architect, the super, and our contractor during the pandemic through a small job that won't win awards or glory, but will let my mom stay in her apartment in dignity and style. Peter is a good communicator and was responsive to requests for input and intervention with the building.

**Comment from Bespoke Architecture, PLLC:**

> Thanks Mitchell, I really appreciate your words. I'm so glad we were able to fix up your mom's place so she could stay there in ease and comfort.

**★★★★★ — Robert Pair, Oct. 2020**

> Peter has advised and helped me and many clients over the past 2 decades. He takes his job seriously, stays on top of his craft and knows how to navigate an extremely complex Department Of Buildings when needed.

**Comment from Bespoke Architecture, PLLC:**

> Thanks Robb. I have liked working with you over the years. All of these projects have helped my refine my craft, and it's been a great experience. I hope for another two decades of working with you.

**★★★★★ — Uptown Townhouse, Oct. 2020**

> Love working with Pete Holtzman - and have used him on many of my projects but the one in the photo is the first one that we worked on together as Peter also knows LPC. He knows the DOB rules and regs backward and forwards, gives great input, and figures out how to get things done.
> Bill Rohlfing / Uptown Townhouse

**Comment from Bespoke Architecture, PLLC:**

> Thanks so much Bill! All of the times we have worked together have been great. The projects come out beautifully, and you are a pleasure to work with. I truly appreciate it each time you come back for another chance to work together!

  - Description: 4,600 square foot Tribeca Loft Renovation & Penthouse Addition We were approached to renovate the top-floor of a Tribeca loft building, add a penthouse and roof deck. The existing space was configured as two funky 1980s-era artist lofts and a failing tar roof. BA gutted the interior, combined the spaces, and added a jewel-box like penthouse and grand roof deck with sweeping, lower Manhattan views. The almost 4,500 square foot loft is a nod to the classic Tribeca warehouse building’s architecture…

  - Description: Kitchen Renovation – San Francisco East Bay We were approached for the kitchen renovation in this 1927 East San Francisco Bay Area mansion in California. The kitchen had a poorly executed late 1980s renovation that left the kitchen dark, with cheap looking and feeling cabinetry, low-end appliances, and very awkward circulation. The clients liked the basic kitchen arrangement, but wanted to improve the connection and circulation between the cooking area and the breakfast nook. The clients sought…

Essentially a wall and roof were added but these ‘basi…

I want my office to have desks as similar as this. Thanks for the ideas!
