**★★★★★ — Pam Snodgrass, July 2017**

> Tom Buckingham has built 2 top end houses for us. We love both of them. He is extremely talented & very creative when it comes to home building. He keeps the clients lifestyle & pocketbook in mind during each project. We liked the fact that he only builds a few projects at a time, so he can really focus on your home. We cannot say enough about this builder!

**★★★★★ — Bliss Roofing Inc, June 2017**

> A fabulous custom builder that does top notch work! We have worked with Tom Buckingham in the past on an Equestrian farm approximately 10 years ago that was a multi million project.

**★★★★★ — Steve Pozo, May 2017**

> We have had the great pleasure to work with Tom Buckingham on some spectacular projects. He recognizes when you use quality products with excellent installation the results can be astonishing.

**★★★★★ — duncanaz, Jan. 2015**

> "Thomas Buckingham built our estate home on 20 acres. In the selection of a builder for our project we had decided that builder involvement was very important to us. Many times you meet the builder himself during the interview process and then he disappears. So the actual "builder" becomes his many subordinates. Thomas's personal attention was critical in the intricately detailed home we built. His management of the costs and timeline were excellent. The Buckingham Resources team of craftsmen were also superb. Besides being very skilled they were very enjoyable to work with.
> We trusted Thomas with our new home and he lived up to and exceeded our expectations. We love our new home!"

**★★★★★ — tanglewood65, April 2014**

> Tom was the best contractor we have ever used. He had a timeline and - for the most part - everything was completed when he said it would be. Part of being an effective contractor is finding good subs to finalize the work - Everyone from electricians to plumbers to cabinet makers to flooring specialists were top notch and easy to work with. His second in command - Doug Cook - was approachable and responsive to questions and work schedules that fit our schedules as well. All in all as pleasant as a remodel project could be!!!

> Great people to work with, Buckingham Resources Ltd. is reliable, courteous, and creative. In the construction field for over 20 years, they have the experience and knowledge to handle any size building project.

A: After the final coat...

**Q: Is something missing from this exterior?** *(in Building a Home)*

We are getting close to locking our floor plan and sending our plans to engineering. We are very happy with the floor plan and like the way the elevations are looking but feel like something may be missing...we just don't know what. It could be that we are struggling with envisioning the black and white flat computer pictures come to life.
We are building on a large acreage piece of land and have beautiful mountain views off the back (east) of the house. There are pasture and pastoral views surrounding the home. We are family of 5 (3 young boys) and this is the home we plan on being in for a very long time. We have a 100 year old barn on the property we plan to restore and may run some cattle one day. We will also have a garden and some chickens. My husband collects and restores older autos, so the second garage is a workshop for him. Perhaps this is more info than necessary but thought I'd include.
We like a shingle style traditional (cape cod) type of home. We plan on light cedar shingles and a grey/blue flagstone accents. We live in the Pacific Northwest. I've included the elevation drawings and would love any feedback you may have. Thank you!

A: Wow! Just read thru the thread. Some great changes!
