A: Thanks for reaching out, appreciating our work. The cabinets are "character grade" walnut---solid, not veneer. The stain color was we mixed to our liking. The counters are Soapstone, a special version that is more black, than green. Our clients' preference is to oil the soapstone only occasionally, allowing it evaporate quite between treatments.
