Sam Corona was the lead. He came to my home and gave me excellent advice regarding shelving and space. Associates Nick and Henry put the closets in. Both very professional. This morning, Henry came by and finished up the project. Henry was on time, polite and answered my many questions. He included me in all aspects of new placement of items. The end result is that I now have beautiful closets! Thank you all. I will recommend The Tailored Closets to my family and friends. I hired Tailored Living to put custom closets in a clients home. To start, incorrect measurements were taken and at the 11th hour a decision had to be made to accommodate for the 9” disparity in which they then tried to push the cost off on my client saying that the material would have been needed regardless and they would have had to pay for it anyway. I don’t disagree but had we known about the 9” extra material needed we could have reconfigured the design and not have 9” or unusable space. > During the installation the work was sloppy. They took every opportunity to pass the responsibility on someone else. There’s a reason their systems are guaranteed for life- that’s because you will need them to be coming out for life to fix something that was never properly put in to begin with. > We ordered specific drawer sizes, we didn’t get that. We ordered specific depth and shelf height, didn’t get that. The owner, Chris’s excuse is that “no one does it that way” with regard to size or style - I don’t care what anyone else is doing- my client wanted something a certain way and paid for it to be that way but that doesn’t matter to him. > My client has had to have them come out 4 times since the system was put in in april of 2022 and it’s august of 22 now and that’s because the pieces haven’t been put in properly. They go to set something in the closet and the floorboard collapses. > I would be writing a novel if I listed the amount of issues - > As a business owner i know how important reviews are and wouldn’t post something like this unless I wholeheartedly believed this company to Be one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made in hiring an outside vendor. When I asked for a quote they came and put in some serious time and effort to spec it all out and give me all the options I wanted and made sure it was going to work and look great. Only drawback was perhaps the lengthy response time but I wasn’t in a hurry. When the day finally came I have to give it up for Curtis, Sean, Mike, Hernan, and Jose. These fellows did some proper work and tackled any issues that arose on site making sure I was informed about the progress and that I was happy with what was going on or changing last minute to something a little different. Very disappointing from the company as they tried to take full payment even the work is not complete and said it was on the contract. I had to argue with the installer to withhold some funding because they did not complete the job. Every single person I dealt with was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. The process was a breeze! Mike streamlined the process and made it very simple in helping us choose a design that fit our needs and budget. He always called or texted to let me know of his arrival time. It took a few times to get the final drawings right but Mike, did an excellent job designing the closet layouts. Having the ability to see the designs in a 3-D format is a plus. Every year we had to call repairs for cracks and chips, and within two years the top shining coating was already gone. Because the multiple repairs, there are different colour patches on the floor. Now the 5 year warranty ran out and we have to spend money again to maintain the floor. Overall the result is way not good as advertised, we are quite disappointed. > From the Premier Garage website, it seems the product and work which they supplied is under life warranty, but we were told by our local dealer our floor was only 5 years warranty.
