The remodel involved reconfiguration of the interior spaces, with demolition of existing structures followed by construction of the new interior design. This included significant alterations to many rooms including the master bedroom and bath, kitchen and main living spaces. It also involved the construction of a new mudroom and laundry room area. McCrea Construction did an excellent job during all phases of the project and we are very, very happy with the result. Everyone we dealt with during the project was skilled and knowledgeable. Ted McCrea was wonderful to work with, was always available to discuss any issue and functions in his position with the utmost integrity and respect for the client. Anything we asked him for was met with "Yes. I'll take care of it." He was knowledgeable, experienced, easy to work with and always respectful of our choices and decisions. He kept us informed every step of the way. All subcontractors and labor used was of the highest quality. The only misstep in the entire process was our fault in selecting the wrong kitchen tile, which had to be removed and replaced. They did a complete kitchen remodel, added and refinished our hard wood floors, and put on a back porch, and pitched two leaking, flat roofs. Not only is the work aesthetically pleasing, but it was done by competent, reliable subcontractors. It has been seven years since our kitchen was redone and three since our porch was added. To date, we have not had one problem with the work done by McCrea Construction. Ted McCrea is an outstanding contractor. He drew the plans for our porch, met with Orange County to get the plans approved, and has an eye for detail. He insists that work is done to the highest standard - his own. We would never use another contractor or company, and we have recommended him to so many friends who are as equally thrilled with his work as we have been.
