Worst mistake we ever made! His crew painted over wallpaper instead of removing it like they were being paid to do. He said our job would take 3 weeks. It took more than 6. He missed multiple appointments while lying saying that he was enroute. Years later, we are still dealing with the damages he caused. Do your research and understand the lack of craftsmanship you will be receiving. We stupidly paid him up front because he said he didn't have the funds to start the job. Total cost of project was $10,000.00. Don't pay him anything until the job is complete and you are satisfied. **★★★★★ — HU-732804522, May 2020** > Jason’s crew came out and repaired some roof damage. Our agreement was he would meet a cleaning crew there (on a Saturday) and pay them for the service (this was a special request as he asked to please fit a job in on a Saturday as we were at least 2 weeks out), he did not meet them and pay them. Then on Monday when we tried to collect payment, he said that damage was done to a section of gutter. We agreed to pay for the repair. More than a month passed and we were still begging Jason to settle with us and get us a copy of the repair invoice which he still has yet to produce. Dear Mr. Rhea please provide our office with the invoice we have repeatedly requested for the work done at 1905 McCool Forest Ln, Collierville, TN 38017 on Saturday April 15th 2017 for the clients Kyle & Lindsey Rhoad, it has now been 3 months on this. Our next contact will be to the Better Business Bureau to try to mediate a resolution as the original owners have sold the house and title has been transferred to the new owners. If you do not have proof of the repair please pay for the job in full. The bath contained the original plumbing that had finally become unusable and a complete tear down and rebuild was the only option. After consulting with the owner Jason Rhea and agreeing on terms, he and his crew got right to work in the time frame specified. There was one unexpected hurdle with some HVAC system piping to the outside air compressor that we did not know was behind the Tub, but they were able to adapt the design of the rebuild so as not to have to move it and made it look like it was never even there. All workers and sub contractors were professional, efficient, and completed their work in a timely manner. Jason obviously takes a lot of pride in the quality of his work and strives to provide his clients with an end product that they will be very proud of. A: Super slippery! **Q: Old "stone" floor** *(in Design Dilemma)* Has anyone seen this sort of floor before (minus the peeling door paint...)? Know what it's called? Have any suggestions on how to remove it? It seems to be chunks of real stone/tile/marble? inlaid ... in some hardened black tar stuff. I think we might have to jack hammer it out! One nice thing is that it's the only part of our home's flooring that doesn't squeak! A: The only success at cleaning and shining is to have a local tile and grout cleaning company to come out and use there steam cleaning process. It does work but they might need to do it more than once. Once it has dried you can get a stone and tile wet look sealer and it will work on this type of floor. **Q: Does anyone know of any good contractor who could do this in Memphis, Tn?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: I am in Memphis and we do projects like this all the time.
