The home staging business was originally created to fill a need for homeowners selling their home trying to get the edge on their competition, however, over the past few years home staging has expanded.

Homes are now being staged that are vacant, occupied, flipped, business offices. In addition, homes in all price ranges are being staged.

Why is that? Well, all homeowners have seen the differences in staged and unstaged homes. Everyone wants to increase that sale of their home. Why not!

Staging is an art. Once a home is staged, it presents very well. It is very clean, possibly new paint, upgrades, most of the items we have collected over the years have been removed. What is left is a home that people fall in love with!

This brings more buyers, the emotional attachment to the house, and multiple offers. This is how you a sell a house. Selling the experience!

Why stage your home? Regardless of the Real Estate market selling your home is all about getting the top dollar and selling it faster! Home staging is the art of selling your home faster and for more money.
In today’s real estate market 90% of buyers are shopping online for their home.

The longer your home is on the market buyers are wondering what is wrong with it! Why hasn’t it sold! After 30 days with little interest and no offers your realtor will suggest you lower your price. STOP THERE!

Before you agree to lower your price, contact WhyteHouse Staging & Re-Design LLC for a consultation. The investment of staging your home is far less than the cost of lowering your price.
Professional Stagers are trained to look at a property and quickly understand why it has not sold. We are looking at your home through a “buyer’s eye” which is very different.

We know what buyers are looking for and we can make those changes and get your home sold. We work very closely with our clients whether they are preparing their home for sale or just want a new fresh look to their home.

We work within your budget. WhyteHouse Staging & Re-Design LLC is here to help you make your dreams come true.

> After 25 years it was time to sell and downsize to a condo. We had a solid, good bones colonial, but the decor was stuck in the 80’s. Rather than spending a lot of money buying updates that we may not need for our new place, WhyteHouse Staging & Re-Design came to the rescue. The owners, Nancy and Jim Whyte were able to stage our home into an HGTV showplace! Buyers comments were always very positive about the decor because Nancy & Jim know what sells a house! We are so grateful to them for their knowledge and professionalism that definitely expedited a “SOLD” sign!

**★★★★★ — Sherri Garron, Nov. 2019**

> I am a Realtor who had difficulty getting a home sold. It was on the market for 6 months with no offers. Nancy staged the house and it went into multiple offers in days and sold over asking price. This was a vacant lake house with a quirky layout. Because of the way Nancy furnished the home, buyers were able to visualize the space and understand how they'd use it. This had been a struggle when it showed vacant. She also consulted on great paint colors, fixtures changes etc. that had a huge impact.

**Comment from WhyteHouse Staging & Re-Design LLC:**

> Thank you Sherri! It was a quirky layout but a great house and great location. Thank you for the opportunity.

**★★★★★ — Don Cortez, Nov. 2019**

> This is our first job with Nancy and Jim @ WhyteHouse Staging. I must say it was the easiest process out of the entire building project. Nancy has an eye to make up an area that is up to date, appealing and flows well thru the entire house. We listed on a Saturday at 10:00am - first offer was at 12:00 Noon and 4 more offers on Sunday. We sold the house Sunday evening! I will use WhyteHouse Staging on every house we list....the vision that she created was the reason that we sold within 24 hours of listing. Thank you for an AWESOME job Nancy and Jim.

**Comment from WhyteHouse Staging & Re-Design LLC:**

> Don, it was such a pleasure to work with you throught out our staging project. However it was an honor to be asked to staged this home and be a part of something bigger then what I do. Thank you for inviting me. Nancy

> Nancy did an amazing job staging our home. She transformed it with a fresh, modern look. Our home had over 1,500 online views in less than a day! Our only open house brought in over 100 potential buyers! In just 4 days we met with our agent with over 20 offers on the table and ended up selling for more than our asking price! We truly believe this is owed to WhyteHouse staging for making our home irresistible to buyers.

**Comment from WhyteHouse Staging & Re-Design LLC:**

> Thank you so much for your beautiful review. I truely enjoyed staging your home and getting to know your wonderful family.

**★★★★★ — Susan Carter, July 2019**

> Nancy and her team were able to enhance the beauty of our home. We were so pleased with her interior design work that we have utilized her with our new home.

**★★★★★ — Walt Shurtleff, March 2019**

> Nancy Whyte of WhyteHouse Staging is a true "one stop shop" for anyone in the process of selling a house after moving out. The staging was top notch and Nancy handled all of the various staging vendors for us. High integrity and way exceeded all of our expectations. Nancy was recommended by our realtor, Julie Tucker, and we are so happy. Results speak for themselves, 5 offers after the first day listed. See Nancy for all your staging needs. You will be highly impressed, as we were. Great job, Nancy.

**Comment from WhyteHouse Staging & Re-Design LLC:**

> Thank you so much Walt for your very kind words. It was a pleasure to work with you and Madeline. Congratulations on the sale of your home. Wishing you both happiness on your new adventure! Nancy

**★★★★★ — HU-962598254, March 2019**

> By performing the recommended updates and the staging our home sold in 5 weeks and over asking price. Well worth the investment. Thanks

**★★★★★ — Julie Tucker, March 2019**

> Nancy provided professionalism and service to my client. The house shows extremely well. My client received multiple offers within 24 hours. I am confident that my client would not have receive such a high value for the house if it was not staged. Thank you Nancy.

**★★★★★ — Jen, Jan. 2019**

> I am a real estate agent and had a home that was on the market a little while. Nancy did a walk-thru at a Broker Open and gave many ideas that would freshen up the home, along with moving existing furniture around, bringing in some staging items and renting furniture. She did meet with my Seller, and was very professional. He implemented many of her suggestions, and we sold the home soon after.

**Comment from WhyteHouse Staging & Re-Design LLC:**

> Thank you so much Jen for your kind words. It was a pleasure working with you and your client.

**★★★★★ — Lynda Jan, June 2017**

> We hired Nancy (and Jim) in the Fall of 2015 to assist with redesigning the majority of our house. My vision was to use most of our existing furniture and accent pieces and make strategic changes to make a big impact. Nancy did exactly that and more and I couldn't be happier with the results! Nancy has a keen eye for proper placement of furniture and accent pieces. She quickly understood my style and always kept my vision as her vision.
>
> We were able to update and redesign four bedrooms, the master bath, foyer, great room, kitchen and playroom. All within a very reasonable budget! The updates from before and after are absolutely amazing! During our house redesign we also decided to update the windows, carpet, and many paint colors. Nancy assisted me with every step in the process of this redesign. I felt she was there for me whenever I need her opinion or advice.
>
> I would highly recommend Nancy for any redesigns, updates or staging to your home. She is very good at what she does and is very affordable. I feel very fortunate to have found her (and Jim) and will continue to use her services for all my future house updates!

**Comment from WhyteHouse Staging & Re-Design LLC:**

> Thank you so much Lynda. It has been a lot if fun working with you and your family.

**★★★★★ — robynacker, June 2017**

> Nancy had great ideas for staging our house. She did what she said she would do and was pleasant to work with. My house sold on the 3rd day on the market. Thank you Nancy

**Comment from WhyteHouse Staging & Re-Design LLC:**

> Thank you so much Robyn. Your house was a lot of fun to stage. So thrilled it sold so quickly!

**★★★★★ — Paul Fanson, May 2017**

> I had the pleasure of working with Nancy and Jim on the staging of our house in Hamburg Township. Nancy had a very clear vision of how to stage the house and what changes to make to really bring out the best of our somewhat challenging old home (build in 1870s but added onto in 2000). Most importantly, she took care of all the details and by the time she was done, the house looked better than it had ever looked. Her advice on wall color, selection of furniture and her suggestion to do a simple refresh of the kitchen were instrumental in having our house sell just a few short days after it listed, for more money than we originally expected.

**Q: POLL: Main requests for aging in place?** *(in Polls)*

What do you think are today’s main requests for building or remodeling bathrooms for aging in place?

Vote and tell us about it in the comments!

A: A non slip floor I. Bathroom. Eliminate all rugs. They are the cause of most falls. Good lighting, door handles and faucets that are easy for people with arthritis. Electrical outlets about 2 ft higher so a person fall when leaning down to unplug/plug in the vacuum. Lots if good lighting around the house. Open shelving not too high for dishes etc. We do not want older people on ladders to get to the dishes. So lots of open shelving or lower cabinets. Extra wide doors through out the home including entrance doors and shower doors. Shower is much better qith out any doors or shower curtains. Have a gentle slope on the floor directed to the drain so oerson can walk out or be rolled out with wheelchair. No transition piece between floor.
