Four slabs of Quartzite were required (gulp) but we now understand why as every seam was perfection. We also used Quartzite as our backsplash which can be tricky if not done correctly. Stoneworks knows what they are doing! Our center island was one piece of stone and ten feet long. It required seven men (including one of the owners who came by personally to assist) and a hydraulic lift. We were nervous, but it went without a hitch. From start to finish, complete professionals and we highly recommend.
