> Our real estate agent recommended a professional home stager to help us prepare our home for resale. Donna came into our home and immediately engaged us with many useful suggestions to make each room attractive for the prospective buyer. Her insightful suggestions made perfect sense and we implemented as many as we could. She has a very artistic eye and so each room took on a new fresh look. We had a great time working with Donna - she is easy to talk to and has a great sense of humour. I would highly recommend her services to others.

> I used this company to give me a different view when selling a condo. I was most impressed with the total outlay and how Donna gave the condo an updated and hip look. I was away for the winter and found dealing with Donna a pleasure, she bent over backward to ensure I was happy and made the experience pleasant. I would highly recommend Creative Home for a timely and outstanding job.

> This was a vacant listing I had that had sat for over six months with another agent and two months with me. Donna staged this property and within two showings after retaking the photos it sold!! Donna has also done staging consultations for other listings and she is great with sellers and has a great portfolio of before and afters. This is an invaluable tool to get homes sold fast and for more money.

The property sold with multiple offers and over the asking price. The property was listing for $749K and the final sale price $163K. That's $15K over asking even in the higher price range for homes! ## Community Q&A

**Q: Masterbath** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you please provide details on vessel sinks?

A: I'm sorry but I can't provide you with any details on the sinks. This was taken of a property that I staged so I don't know any info. on where the fixtures in the house were purchased.

**Q: Which chair should I buy to replace the floral one?** *(in Polls)*

I need a chair for this spot. The floral chair is too small and I tried a wood chair that was also too small. The table can easily move left or right to accommodate any chair width. In a previous discussion, many said they don't like the table and lamp together in this spot, but they're both staying since I like them.

A: I really like the chair you bought better than the 3 options. You could consider getting a table that is more of a transitional piece with straight legs and darker wood. They don't really go together...I think it's because the table is too traditional looking, the lamp is modern with the chair leaning more to the transitional style. So there seems to be a lot of styles going on in that small area.

**Q: HELP PLEASE!!** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Is this rug too small for the foyer/entryway? Also, is the console table too tall for the space? Please help!!

A: I agree with Interior Affairs. I think it looks fine.

**Q: Modern or Traditional?** *(in Polls)*

When it comes to shopping for a new sofa which style do you prefer?

A: It is going to depend on the style of the home.

**Q: POLL: Black or White Kitchen?** *(in Polls)*

We see a lot of all white kitchens on Houzz, but fewer all black kitchens. Which do you prefer?

VOTE and tell us about it in the comments!

A: I like the white because I find it very clean looking. I agree with some of the comments above. The kitchen in the photo is too stark. I think there should be more contrast to warm the space up. The kitchen that David Wilson posted is much warmer looking and would be more in the direction I would be inclined to go with all white cabinets.

**Q: POLL: Dishes or Laundry - Which is worse?** *(in Polls)*

Taking care of your home doesn't stop at picking the right paint colors. (Unfortunately.) ;)

There are a lot of chores and responsibilities that go along with keeping your household running. The question is. Among these two - which is your least favorite?

VOTE and tell us about it in the comments!

A: For me...I would have to say dusting is the worst.
