The Staff was wonderful to work with, my doors look amazing! Total transformation of my home in just 3 hours with no mess. Great quality and affordable price! **★ — Geoff Tucker, July 2016** > I ordered my doors February 18 and it's now mid-July. The original order was quoted as delivering in about 6 weeks by Jason. When I followed up weeks later, he said they didn't place the order in their system until March 1 - no explanation why. It wasn't until May that I got my doors after repeated inquiries, and one set of them was not cut to the right size, plus the guy installed one of them upside down. I'm still waiting on those replacements with no response to any follow ups I've done lately. Last I heard their production manager walked out and deleted customer orders in the process, requiring me to have to re-measure for them to get the doors re-ordered which for some reason shipped from Tampa to Sacramento (?) and god knows where they are now if anywhere. I've spent nearly $4000 with them and the experience has been really poor. The doors I have so far are good and I like them but this is a company that's got "going under" written all over it. **★ — krissykusch, June 2016** > Please do not order from this company. I am in the process of selling my home and wanted to have it on the market in May. I placed an order for new closet doors mid March with a promise from the sales rep, Jason, that they would be in within 4-5 weeks but guaranteed in 6. The gentleman who came out to measure also assured me they would be in within 6 weeks. It has now been well over 14 weeks since I signed my contract and they cannot even tell me if the doors have begun production. I was told just last week there was an issue with obtaining resources. They cannot tell me if and how I can cancel and simply stated there is a clause in the contract that delays may occur. I was just notified by my real estate agent the listing value of my home dropped over $2k from May to July. They will not allow me to cancel and they will not deliver the product. I have called every week for over eight weeks and am now calling daily. Nancy answers each and every time, she is very nice but has no information often stating the plant in CA is non responsive. I asked Jason about the other reviews stating the doors were delayed and he stated those reviews were nonsense - the doors would be in. They have over $2,000 of my money and will not deliver and will not refund my deposit. This company is costing me thousands of dollars due to this delay. I have been deceived by the sales rep, Jason and this company. Do not fall victim to the awful practices of a company who does not honor their word and fails to deliver to their customers. **★★★★★ — hyeates, June 2014** > A very good experience and super happy with our doors. We only went into it expecting to replace a few doors but ended up replacing most of our interior doors. **★★★★★ — marcsonnabend, May 2014** > My wife and I chose Homestory for the installation of our new paneled doors in our home. I should point out that both of us are fairly particular. Homestory has installed the doors and we are extremely pleased with the upgraded appearance, quality of the product, competitive pricing, and the professional customer service that Homestory and Dan Teuscher provided! Solid work and just as important, solid people. Thanks again! **★★★★★ — User, May 2014** > I had all of my interior doors replaced by HomeStory. The doors were custom fit to the frames and all fit perfectly. Several months after the installation I noticed that one of the bathroom doors would repeatedly tap the strike plate or even slam shut during breezy days, so I called HomeStory for a warranty visit. They sent out the same gentleman who had performed the installation and he installed a magnetic door stopper to fix the problem. He even installed a kick plate on the fire door leading to the garage. Overall I am very pleased with the workmanship. **★★★★★ — rio359, April 2014** > We hired HomeStory of Chicago to change out all of our interior doors in our 1895 farmhouse. Not only did they have the type of door we were looking for to add to the integrity of the home, but the quality was amazing. It's been several months since the install and the doors look great, really made a high impact to the house with minimal cost compared to what other remodeling projects might run you. > > Dan and his crew were a pleasure to work with and extremely professional. We had a small issue with one door not staying closed and Dan sent out one of his guys the same day to get it fixed. > > We would highly recommend their services to friends and family. We continue to get compliments on the doors and people can't believe it when we tell them about the technology used to remove only the existing doors and not the entire door with frame. Saved us time, money, and a lot of dust! ## Selected projects - [HomeStory Doors of Chicago Video](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/homestory-doors-of-chicago-video-pj-vj~6685271) - Location: Chicago, IL - Photos: 1 - Description: HomeStory Doors is a custom door replacement professional service. A: Unfortunately we don't service International orders. Sorry. **Q: How much is this door . I love it** *(in Photo Questions)* I live in Victoria , and would love 2 of these A: Hi PTbetty1, Unfortunately I do not have pricing available for this specific door, as we have so many options for each door and depends on the size of the doorway opening, decorative glass options, etc. We also do not ship doors only. We are an all in one service that provides the installations and only in certain locations across the U.S. My recommendation, would be to print this image or screenshot on a phone and take to a Lowe's or Home Depot or local door shop and see if they have something similar. Another option is to search companies that ship doors after basic measurements. Search "Reeded Glass Interior Doors" and hopefully you can find a company. Sorry we couldn't be more help. **Q: can I get this door in the UK?** *(in Photo Questions)* Love this door but it seems to be available in the States. A: Hello Marina, our apologies, but we do not have any information about sources in the UK for a similar door. My best recommendation is to print it out and search your local home improvment stores to find a similar style. We call it the Cheyenne, but it could have other names with various door manufactures. Sorry we couldn't be more help! Good luck on your search. - Mark at Homestory Doors. **Q: Love wall color. Do you know color name and company that makes it** *(in Photo Questions)* Love the yellow on the wall. Do you know the color name and company that makes it. Thank you A: Hello, We do not have the paint color in the photo documented as this image is a few years old and we are the company that provides the interior doors. However, to find a similar color I suggest you print the image and take it to a local paint store or a Home Depot, etc. to find color samples in this color wheel. Images online can sometimes be difficult to tell the exact color due to lighting during the photo-shoot, computer screen, etc. And every color may look slightly different in your own space due to the lighting and decor in your house. For a close match I would say search in the Pastel color wheels. Of course, every paint company calls it something different. Good luck on your search! **Q: Red paint color** *(in Photo Questions)* This is an extremely beautiful shade of red! Where may I find it? A: Hello, I am not sure of the actual brand of paint or color on this project as this photo is a few years old and we are the door supplier. Your best bet is to print this photo and take it to a paint source, like Home Depot or Kelly Moore, so they can provide you matching color samples. Hope that helps. Good luck! **Q: Must have the mirrored door** *(in Photo Questions)* There is no dealer close to me, in my state or surrounding ones. Is it possible to order this door & have it shipped to Oklahoma? A: Hi Barbara, Thank you for your interest and inquiry with this door style! It's definitely a favorite with our customers. Unfortunately, we do not deliver product via online orders. My suggestion would be to search Google Shopping for a similar interior mirrored door product, that will offer pricing and delivery. Second, an interior design consultant or contractor that specializes in Interior Doors may be able to track one down for you. Sorry we are not in your area. Best of luck on your search. -Mark at HomeStory Doors --- *Source: Houzz professional profile. Reflects the profile as of 2026-11-07.*
