The door is burgundy and we're open to change. How can we update this look without unnecessary residing? Can we change the trim to a "color"? Add some interest in porch area like cedar shake? A: its hard to change colors without residing, you can paint garage door and front door, or add some ornaments like window headers or shutters but your house looks great. if you really want to change - you can reside central area and upper gable, and porch area - these are separate areas that can be resided, and you can use there cedar shakes as well --- *Source: Houzz professional profile.
