I wasn't struggling to find paint colors that I knew would work for my space, but I wanted more options that were different from the colors I was choosing. Basically, I received wall paint selections that were lighter & slightly darker versions of very similar paint colors I had already chosen. In addition, three of the exact same colors clearly mentioned on the questionnaire that I already worked with prior to hiring them were selected. Huh? I obviously wanted different colors and not lighter or darker versions of similar colors I liked. The amount of work you have to do for them to figure out what's best for your space was completely unexpected and outrageous. I would gather this work would fall on their shoulders if it was the in-person consultation. On the positive side, they're professional, polite, and responsive. I cannot recommend the ONLINE consultation service, but I would bet the in-person service would perhaps be much better. From the picture, do you think the overhang on the right side is excessive? The granite overhangs the cabinets by 12" on the right side. Do u think we should get rid of the overhang? I have dogs and hopeful for grandchildren. Will it easily scratch? Is there a suggested type of wood or brand? Thanks! A: Wood wears well, but can get destroyed if your dishwasher leaks like mine has. I replaced mine with a dark grey porcelain tile that looks fantastic, but I chipped it when my heavy blender fell on it.
