> Michael Umphress has done multiple jobs at my 60 year old house.  He did a beautiful tile floor in my kitchen.  Additionally, he installed a new toilet, recessed medicine cabinet and new showerhead in my bath.  He solved sprinkler issues that I was having in my yard and corrected a big problem I was having with water runoff from my gutters and standing water in my driveway.   Michael never repairs a problem without first accessing the reason for the problem and correcting the underlying cause.  Because of his thoroughness,  the problem doesn't reoccur.  He is a complete professional, and his work reflects the years of experience he has had.

> Mike from Umphress Custom Construction has performed several small projects for us and two big projects.

> The first project Mike completed for us was remodeling our previously rottened out stand-up shower.  He gutted the entire shower and created an elegant shower using travertine left over from a previous bathroom re flooring project (wish we had know Mike when we did that project.) Mike finished it off with custom tile cuts for design and built in soap/shampoo shelves also made from the travertine.
