## About

### Houzz Badges

- 250 Ideabook Saves

Artists, Architects, Designers. Turning your imagination into reality.

Based in Huntsville, Alabama, Jeff Thomas brings vision and form to achieve a desired function, creating the built environment in which we personify.

As an artist and designer, he accessorizes, embellishes, and defines the visual, spatial, and tactile elements.
As an inventor, he dreams, crafts and forms — combining artistic ideals, applying architectural principles, creating a unique spin on life that subtly changes the way we live. He is passionate about design, whether it's a building, a piece of furniture, or simple garden orientation.

Jeff is a designer without boundaries who believes all material elements possess inherent design potential. It is the combination of color, form, and texture to articulate a particular function that establishes a sense of place and stimulates perception.

After graduating in 1987 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Auburn University, Jeff's career started in multifamily apartment complex developments in the southeast. By the early 90s, while at Crow, Overbeek, Neville and Peters, he had designed and administered over a million square feet of retail construction in 23 states. In 1995, he was selected to be the project architect for the Huntsville Museum of Art. In 2001 he refined his focus, concentrating on artistic expression and celebration of life and architecture.

Such turn-of-the-century communities embody the best principals of neighborhood design, where estates and smaller homes form a harmonious street rhythm. This sets the design focus for a relaxed and refined “home for life,” true southern traditionalism.
