To start, I happened to see the More for Less trucks at a neighbor's house and decided to give them a call for help with my bathroom...and let me tell you, I am so thankful I did. I finally have the bathroom of my dreams! More for Less Remodeling successfully took my dark and depressing 1970s / 80s bathroom to what I would now call a fabulous, clean, and seamless blend of vintage, Victorian and/or English design, and hotel chic. My hall bathroom now looks like it could have come straight from the pages of a magazine. I found More for Less's pricing to be fair and competitive, with their attention to detail being impeccable all the way around, and I tend to be a very detail / design oriented person myself. Further, my mother, who has a high level of taste and a degree from Europe in Art History focusing on Middle-Europe architecture, said that they couldn't have done a better job. Chris and Angela, the owners, as well as the whole crew, treated us all like family during the whole process. Angela, who I found to be very talented, knowledgeable, and helpful (just look at the beautiful showroom she designed) truly helped me lead the way to help me accomplish all of my design dreams. She let me choose my own products, all while helping lead me to products of substantial quality so that both aesthetics and quality would be present. If something I liked was not of good quality, she took the time to let me know and provided me with other options. Furthermore, Chris was always available whenever needed, and he really took the time with me to explain the various components of construction and remodeling. Jake H., who we think is such a nice guy, fun to talk to, and a very hard worker, truly went above and beyond to help fix a problem, when, on a weekend during our project and through no fault of More for Less, we experienced an emergency and no one else was available. Every person who stepped foot in our house treated us with respect, kindness, and professionalism. Zach (who I discovered is truly amazing at carpentry and molding, created an absolutely awesome, custom, Shaker-style mirror and doorframe that look like they could be original to a 19th century historic home!!) Jake H., Jake K., Devin, James, Derek, Gordon, Brandon, and everyone else on the team all had a great energy and were positive, upbeat, punctual, and overall, a joy to work with. Chad at the office was super kind and helpful, as well. I can tell that Chris and Angela work to hire people who truly love what they do, which I believe also helps to set them apart from some of the others out there. Very importantly, the kids are incredibly happy and proud of their new bathroom. They are so excited to get ready in there, and that happiness, to us, is priceless. The project was done on time (completed in 4 weeks when they’d estimated 4-6) and they were highly responsive and communicative throughout. They came up with suggestions that improved our original concept, while being sensitive to our budget. The work sight was clean every day and our home never felt like a construction zone. We ended up with a fantastic end result. Additionally, in the midst of the kitchen project, we had a need for some basic drywall and painting work at another property.
