They performed the work (installing and correcting piers in our crawl space) very efficiently and the quality of work made us feel confident that our home is now structurally safe and secure. > We first worked with Terron on a repair job for our house.  A tornado had done damage to the roof and interior of our home.  Terron was quick to respond and began working to repair the damage on the roof almost immediately.  Not only did he and his crew get the job done, but they gave much attention to detail.  Making sure his new materials matched perfectly to the existing materials was important to Terron.  The job was done quickly, professionally, and with great care.

> We worked with Terron in the Fall 2008 to build a screen porch onto our house. We had a picture of what we wanted the screen porch to look like. Terron exceeded every expectation. Not only did he build/create the porch we had asked for he added so many beautiful details such as beadboard, molding and ipe (exotic wood). We asked Terron to continue the project in 2011 and change our existing deck boards to the Brazilian walnut wood ipe and add wrought iron railings, build an arbor swing and construct lattice work for under the screen porch. Terron and his crew are extremely hard working and professional and we would highly recommend them.

There are seven microlam beams in the ceiling, and 3 extra piers in the crawlspace holding up the second floor after all the walls we removed. the walnut beam, the brick backsplashes, the extensive custom cabinetry, the walk-in pantry, and the raised butcher block counter at the end of the island are the unique features of this project. The homeowner picked her appliances, lighting, faucet, and colors for her new kitchen.

Can you please tell me about that tile flooring? Is it laid over the decking and how does it transition to the outside? Thanks.

A: The tile is laid on top of 3/4" treated plywood on a treated floor system, so the transition to the 1" decking on the other side of the door is rather smooth and level. We didn't use it on this project, and there hasn't been any issues, but there is a dimpled membrane which if laid on top of the treated plywood will separate any wood movement from the mortar and tile...which is not a bad idea. We have used it on subsequent projects.
