> I love my Modern Flames linear fireplace.  It creates just the modern but soothing ambiance for my master bedroom.  I contacted Modern Flames yesterday because my home was broken in to and the burglar stole my fireplace!  In less than 24 hours Matt Gomez at Modern Flame was able to find me a replacement that will fit perfectly.  This level of service is commendable any time but considering it's the busiest time of year for fireplaces, Matt's response is amazing!  Thank you, Modern Flames for a quality product and for staff and service commitment that makes for a standout company.

Does this put off actual heat??

A: Hello,
The AL60CLX2-BS unit does come standard with a 1500 WATT 5000 BTU heater that you can turn "OFF" and "ON". It will warm up an area of roughly 450 sq ft. Let us know if you have any other questions

Sorry for the delayed response. It is not real flames that you see, we use LED lighting to project the image of flames on the viewing area. Let us know if you have any more questions.
