> Our house was built in 1952.  We had the original wooden windows with sash weights and external storm windows, When ever the wind blew the windows would rattle. In the summer the electric bill would be $400+ per month for airconditioning. In the winter the natural gas bill would be $400+ per month for heating.  We got three estimates for new windows for the house and large sliding windows for a screened in porch we wanted to enclose. We chose Vinyl-Lite because their salesman was the most helpful , Vinyl-Lite Manufactures and installs their own windows, and their life time guarantee was the best. If you purchase windows from someone who isn't a manufacturer and if anything goes wrong, it's going to be a big fight to get it fixed. The manufacturer will say the installer is at fault and the installer will say the windows were defectively made by the manufacturer. It winds up being a nightmare for the homeowner who just wants his windows fixed.  No problem with Vinyl-Lite. They manufacture and install their own product so they take extra pride in their workmanship because they know when the job gets done they don't want to be going back to fix something that should have been done correctly in the first place. Vinyl-Lite showed up on time and the windows were perfect and the installation was absolutely flawless. Their job foreman spoke English as a first language and made sure when the old windows were removed there was no damage done to the interior wood work. There can be a big problem with new window installations. When the workers remove the old windows they can really mess up the interior wood trim requiring carpenter and painting work. NOT with Vinyl-Lite.  Installing the large sliding windows on the screened in porch presented problems of its' own. The job foreman was also a skilled carpenter who had to frame in the porch openings for the sliding windows. Again, his work was flawless and the windows fit perfectly. We can now use the porch all year long no matter the weather. It has added another 150 useable square feet to the house. The widows themselves make the house very quite and we never have an electric or gas bill over $200 per month.  In short, I can unequivocally recommend Vinyl-Lite's product and installation.  The icing on the cake is their financing which can't be beat and their guarrantee that even if some neighborhood kid throws a baseball through the window by accident, Vinyl-Lite will fix it no charge.  Just bring the widow in to their factory and it gets done while you wait. NUMBER ONE in my book.
