I called Ron Shaby of SOS to see if he could figure out what had been done and how to fix it. The system in place was complicated and definitely not user friendly. Ron came to my house looked at the whole system, said he would have to undo what had already been done, but that he could fix it so it was super easy. And he did just that. Ron came by to give me a detailed assessment of how the job could be done and left me with a realistic estimate. When I decided to move forward, he worked with me to determine what equipment would be needed and allowed me to purchase much of it on my own. He came out for the installation and took care of everything while I was at work. By the time I returned home, my living room was transformed. Ron had wired everything, discreetly run the cabling along my floor and ceiling trim, calibrated the speakers and had everything ready to go. And most importantly, when I ran into a couple of minor issues with the cabling a few days later, he came back at no charge to get everything squared away. I had looked into other providers, but none offered the flexibility and full service that Ron did. I'm so glad I chose him for the installation. I had designed a custom entertainment center, and Ron had to work carefully in a tight space to install all of the media equipment, route wires, hide cords - and do it all without marring the specialty finish on the new cabinet! > > But, even before installing, Ron made an initial trip to the client's home to identify what would be needed for the project, and while there, he explained that a sound bar mounted below the TV would be ideal for sound clarity. Apparently, the built-in speakers on flat-screen TVs are not that great. She agreed, and I have to say, after hearing the sound, it felt like we were in a movie theater with surround sound.
