In addition to providing work of the highest quality, Jean Paul (the owner) and his team were honest, friendly, punctual, and flexible. I can’t think of a way in which our interaction with the company could have been better. > > We received estimates from three painters for the painting of three interior rooms, the kitchen cabinets, and the exterior of our recently purchased house. I contacted JPro after another painter cancelled an estimate appointment, and Jean Paul rearranged his schedule to be at the house in less than an hour. All three estimates were within about 5% of each other with respect to the rooms and exterior. The JPro estimate for the kitchen cabinets was substantially higher. I was impressed with Jean Paul’s friendliness and professionalism during our initial meeting, and I wanted to use JPro, so I called him to ask about the difference. He explained the many-step process the company uses on kitchen cabinets to ensure the quality of the work. I asked him if he would be willing to provide an estimate for a more traditional brush-paint process, and he said that he used to be willing to do cabinets that way but because he now feels so strongly that the resulting quality is subpar, his strong preference is to use the more expensive method. After doing my own research, I learned that Jean Paul was correct. My wife and I decided to proceed with JPro on the rooms and exterior and to postpone the painting of the cabinets. If we do ultimately decide to paint the cabinets, we’ll definitely use JPro. > > We had the rooms painted before we moved into our house. The project started and finished on time despite our adding a bathroom to the job in the middle. Jean Paul sent us photos occasionally to update us on the progress, his crew left the house cleaner than when they started, and Jean Paul was very flexible in working around the issues associated with the fact that we weren’t on site at any point. > > The exterior portion of the project included repairing and caulking the HardiePlank siding and pressure washing and painting both the siding and the trim on the three-level house. Jean Paul was on site at the beginning of every day of work and was very easy to get a hold of by phone. His two-man team was always on time and was friendly to my entire family. Jean Paul didn’t bat an eye when my wife and I asked him to add some additional interior projects to the work and was exceptionally patient when, after all of the siding was painted, my wife and I realized we’d made a bad choice on the color. He offered to get samples of our other choices and had his team paint large portions of the front of the house so that we could evaluate those colors. He then gave us a very reasonable estimate for repainting the siding and gave us as much time as we needed to make a decision. We ultimately did change the color, and, despite the headache of redoing a substantial portion of the project in the intense summer heat, both Jean Paul and his crew kept a positive attitude and managed to complete the project within the original estimated timeframe. When the work was done, Jean Paul did a walkthrough with me and identified some small issues that were quickly fixed. He also went above and beyond in figuring out how to reinstall the screens on our screened porches despite that they had been discovered to be broken during their removal. > > I can’t say enough about Jean Paul and his employees.
