> We've relied on Case Design/Remodeling, and specifically Gizem and Jason, for two big projects in our house, and could not have been happier with their guidance and work.

> When we bought our house in 2021, we knew it would need some updating, both upstairs and downstairs, to suit our needs. We started upstairs, talking with multiple renovation specialists before landing on Case, largely based on their Case Study approach to renovations. We did a full renovation and expansion of our kitchen, a full renovation and expansion of a bathroom, expanded our front porch, and rebuilt our fireplace. Gizem and her team worked with us closely at every step of the design process, using our preferences and feedback as a guide, and providing us multiple options to choose from. The end result is exactly what we wanted--a more open, modern space that is functional for a family with small kids.

> We were so pleased with Case's work that a few years later we reached back out to Gizem to see if Case could help with a more modest downstairs project: replacing old carpet with new flooring, replacing doors and trim, and adding built-ins (no moving walls this time around). Gizem and Jason again quickly proposed a plan, and only a few months later we had cleared out the basement for construction to start. The basement renovation, like the upstairs renovation, again elevated the space, making it feel more modern and livable. (Gizem even helped us select paint colors for extra pop.)

> We had a positive experience from start to finish with Case Architects and Remodelers and our terrific team led by Gizem (Sensitive Information Hidden), Georgette (Sensitive Information Hidden) and Jason (Sensitive Information Hidden). From the first meetings, we felt that Gizem and Georgette were keenly attuned to how we wanted to use the space to be renovated (kitchen, primary bath and a pool bath/laundry room). They came up with multiple design concepts and we melded our preferred options to come up with a master plan. Gizem and Georgette patiently helped us select appliances, cabinets, countertops, hardware and finishes. No detail was left out. They also created detailed construction drawings that helped us envision how our new spaces would look and function. Our questions and comments were always promptly addressed.

> When we moved into the construction phase, Jason took the lead and very accurately outlined the work and payment schedules. He sent regular email progress reports, and also met with us weekly at the job site to review progress and next steps. His crew lead, Ever, was a skilled craftsperson. He coordinated any project-related questions that arose on site with Gizem and Georgette.

> We did a major primary bathroom renovation with Gizem as the lead and the whole Case team behind her. We could not be more pleased. We originally chose Case because of their preliminary design service because we weren't sure that what we wanted done was possible. Once we saw the initial options they suggested were possible, we were able to get a much better handle on what the ultimate design could become. This was a big renovation. We moved walls, plumbing, electrical; if it could be changed, it was. The design recommendations took into account our preferences and opened our eyes to multiple possibilities we had not considered. Gizem gauged our reactions to various elements of design and once our eyes lit up to a particular tile pattern, everything else fell into place. When we ran into roadblocks in design or choices, other options were found. Georgette Diaz, designer, gave honest opinions when we were uncertain and we are glad we trusted her input.
> Once construction started with Justin Speer as lead, everything went well. There were a few issues that arose which is to be expected in any construction project, but they were always handled expediently. The subcontractors were knowledgeable and responsive and Justin managed all the appointments with subcontractors and inspectors. That alone took a huge burden off our shoulders. Justin also proved to be an experienced trouble-shooter, suggesting great-looking solutions to things like odd baseboard junctions, etc. Jason, the lead craftsman, was skilled and meticulous about his work and about site protection and clean-up every day. We were kept up to date on what had been done each day and what was to come.

Gizem and Allie listened to all of our wishes, big and small, and designed us a remarkable kitchen that meets all of our dreams. They even went shopping with us which made what could have been a painful experience (especially for my husband) most enjoyable. They were very patient with us during the multiple design sessions helping us get things just right. We really have nothing but the best to say about Case Design and the entire process. Everyone was extremely professional, even during the pandemic. Yes, construction on our kitchen (and other first floor upgrades) began in March when the world shut down. While we all worked through some ups and downs, what resulted is a fabulous kitchen that we couldn’t be happier with.  Thank you both very much!!

> The one thing that I always say about Case and our house remodel is "everything looks better than I thought it would." Gizem was our salesperson/design person and she was just lovely. It was a huge project - very old house that hadn't been well-maintained. We moved the kitchen, moved around several walls and doorways, and created a master suite upstairs. We also created a mudroom in the basement and put a garage door on.

> Working with Gizem was a dream!!! We had lots of ideas and opinions when we started the design process; we even had concepts from a previous Architect that we had tried out. She really listened to us and was able to bring what we wanted to life. She had amazing design ideas to incorporate the looks we wanted and helped us balance the whole concept. She even helped us in choosing things that we bought separately from Case, just to make sure the whole design came together. At every turn she went above and beyond to make sure out project was perfect. It honestly came out better than we could have imagined. Her layout/ design for the actual space really pushed us to see our house differently and if it had not been for her insistence that we consider this option, our project would not be anywhere near as life changing as it has been. I, without any hesitation, would highly recommend working with Gizem (& Case Design as a whole). She is someone you really want on your team!

The backsplash materials is full height engineered quartz and color name is Silestone Ethernal Series Calacatta Gold.

I'm have a similar cabinet and was getting the thicker counter top as well. just wondering how thick this one is?

A: Hi Amber I am sorry for the late reply it is a built up miter edge and seems to be 3".
