> I had the pleasure of working with Sarah and Phoenix of DXT Studio when I was hired to photograph one of their design projects. They were both a delight to work with and have a great eye for styling interior spaces for photography. They made my job easy and I look forward to working with them again!

> We had the pleasure of working with Sarah at DXT studio for our whole home renovation project. Right from the beginning, Sarah was able to capture our style and we trusted her vision throughout the entire renovation process which spanned over a year. We are so happy with the outcome and wouldn’t have changed a single thing from the initial space planning right down to every last finish. Sarah was responsive, professional, and incredibly easy to work with. She went above and beyond to ensure that every last detail was taken care of and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommend!

> DXT Studio, and especially Sarah were an absolute dream to work with. We had a really hard time conceptualizing our space and though we had a sense of what we wanted, Sarah managed to completely draw it out of us and realize it in spectacular fashion. We enjoyed every aspect of the process. From the casual and comfortable feeling of our first design meeting to her recommendations of supporting suppliers, site planning, budget controls and decor selections. The end product is spectacular and we couldn't be happier with our experience.

 - Description: The second and third floors of this grand Victorian Parkdale residence were completely opened up and remodeled. White oak floors were site-finished with a natural matte coating that won't yellow over time. Windows were replaced with modern casements or picture windows to maximize views, punctuated by black frames. Skylights were added on both floors by restructuring the roof to bring in light to the central rooms. The result is at once contemporary and timeless, efficient and absolutely stunning…

 - Description: A downtown condo for a young professional was transformed from a dark, dated, cramped suite to a functional and modern one. High contrast finishes and thoughtful storage solutions create a clean, minimal and efficient living space.

 - Description: This Toronto home had already been lived in for years before the owners decided to do a complete rebuild and third floor addition to accommodate their growing family. Underpinning the basement allowed for a legal rental apartment to help offset the renovation costs, and the ceilings were raised on the above-grade floors as well. Large windows and sliding doors on the east and west-facing sides of the home flood it with natural light, transforming this property into a bright and happy forever hom…

## Community Q&A

**Q: Where did you buy the teepee?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Thanks for your question, Patsy! Our client purchased the teepee, but it is the Birch Lane model from Wayfair.

**Q: Hi, what is the name/brand of floor tile? it’s beautiful!** *(in Photo Questions)*

.

A: Thanks for your question! The tile is Llagostera Gris and the manufacturer is Vives Ceramica. We sourced it in Toronto from Mettro Source.

**Q: Vanity Color** *(in Photo Questions)*

Hello - can you provide the vanity color? it is gorgeous! Thanks!

A: Hi Lindsey - thank you so much! We custom-designed the vanity and had it finished in my favourite inky black, Soot by Benjamin Moore. The hint of blue in it makes it less "scary" than using a true jet black, particularly for a kids' space. :)
