Founded in 2003, Bevan + Associates specializes in custom residential homes for families, couples and developers. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, projects span the entire country meeting the needs of clients both near and far. 

Overall aesthetic and "style" of work is modern feel, with the use of natural materials such as stone, steel, concrete, glass and wood. Our approach is that every home should feel like a vacation with a relaxed sophistication.

Born and raised in San Francisco Bay Area, George Bevan attended the University of Oregon where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in International Politics, with a Minor in Planning, Public Policy & Management in 1996. Bevan moved on to complete his Master of Architecture degree at California Polytechnic University, Pomona in 2001. He was awarded the 2001 Medal for Excellence in the Study of Architecture by the American Institute of Architects. Work experience includes, a residency for Michael Folonis, FAIA in Santa Monica designing custom residential homes and mid-century modern restorations.

## Community Q&A

**Q: what is the wall color?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Thanks for your question.  There are alot of choices when it comes to the color white.  I have two absolute favorite whites.  C2 Paint Company:  1)  CHIT CHAT (C2-964) and 2)  COTTON (C2-836).  It's important to get samples and look at them in your space ultimately, so you can decide what color best suites your space given the light and wall surface.

Amazing layout! If i may ask, What are the dimension of the kitchen/dining/living area ?

A: Thank you for your kind words and question.  The width of the room is dictated by the length of the island and circulation space to each side.  That said, the island here is 11'-0" long with 5'0" on each end = +/- 21' to 23' wide X 50' long (kitchen w/island, dining area, circulation space to rear yard and living area).
