> Bowe construction completed a bathroom remodel for us costing around $35,000. In general, we were satisfied with the work and results of the bathroom remodel. The main problem started less than 2 months after the completion of the bathroom when a crack in the main wall started to appear. The crack continued to grow to half the length of the wall. We assumed that Ben would remedy this issue, so we weren't worried. However, our text contacts with Ben and/or Amanda went nowhere in terms of settling this issue for 4 months. After we finally pressed the issue about repairing the wall, we were told that the drywaller had retired and that they will not be responsible for fixing the crack. This seemed very odd since the drywaller only took care of the mudding, taping and texturing. It was Ben and his helper that set the wallboards. It was movement in one of the boards that caused the crack due to the board not being tightly secured to the wall. Had Ben done his part to fix the moving board rather than stonewalling for 4 months, the drywaller could have refinished the wall before he retired. Unfortunately, Ben never even came to the house to check the wall out.

> Ultimately, we paid another drywaller a few hundred dollars to properly secure the wall, retape and texture, then we repainted. We will not be using Bowe Construction for our kitchen remodel. If you choose to work with Bowe Construction, we recommend that you get clear information in writing from Ben and Amanda regarding their warranty and about who will be responsible for what in the event that something goes wrong.
