We were introduced by a Home Decoration Expert, Shona Fraser in 2020/21. Based on our positive experience during the first project (Kitchen backsplash tiles which were mosaic marble pieces-looked challenging, and work on a fireplace mantle piece), we decided to take the plunge and tackle a bigger project. > > Our house is an older, custom built cottage-style home with a 45 degree roof structure, up to 3 levels at certain spots. It is situated on uneven ground-basically a big rock, with a bunch of cedar trees around. The North facing cedar plank finished envelope was failing. We decided that while we explore and replace the rot, we would also change the entrance by adding a grand and high (to match the 45 degree high roof) entry way. We also added a lot of natural stone around a third of the house and had the whole two and a half storey chimney and equally high entry way finnished in rock. We basically replaced and upgraded the whole North facing wall of the house. To us it looked daunting. > > Stuart and his team broke the process down in two steps (2 contracts). Firstly we needed to create a design, draw legal building plans and give a detailed quote, and secondly complete the project. Their input was valuable and the drawing program helped us visualize the end project. We were happy with the design, which blended well with the current design, while enhancing the quality and modernizing the home. > > The 2 projects took more than a year. We started in July 2022 and by September the design and quote were completed. The city took a while with the permits and the building project lasted from January until November 2023. Because it was the outside of the house, and the project went through all 4 seasons, the workers had to face snow, rain, heat-the works-all on high scaffolding! A shout out to Collin and Damien for doing awesome carpentry and offer creative solutions in tricky situations that always come with a custom renovation-including managing a nest of carpenter ants! The stonework was also excellent. The front stonewall and fence with gate ended up bein > All in all- we are happy with the results and get lots of compliments from visitors and neighbours. We recommend Windsor Wolves.g a much bigger project than expected and Windsor Wolves honored their price and commitment. > > The price was reasonable, the project creep and inevitable cost increase were managed well enough and the end product was of very high quality.
