**Q: Help me transform my playroom** *(in Home Decorating)*

I need help transforming our toddler’s playroom into a space that is both functional and beautiful. Right now, it’s basically just where toys live—no design, no cohesion. I’d love to make it a room my child loves and one I enjoy being in too.

Here’s what I’m looking for:

Style: Grandmillennial-inspired—refined, layered, and nostalgic rather than bright and chaotic.
Color Inspiration: I’m drawn to soft, timeless palettes. To give you a sense of my style, I’m very particular about my toddler’s clothes (think Feltman Brothers, smocked bubbles, knee socks). That classic look is what I’d love reflected here—playful but still polished. Since we plan to have more children, I’d also like it to feel adaptable, not overly tailored to just one child.
Furniture & Storage: Functional solutions that keep toys accessible but organized.
Play Structures: Maybe a custom playhouse, slide, or play kitchen? I’d love creative ideas for structures (custom-built or unique pieces) that double as both design statements and play opportunities.
Overall Goal: A space that blends function and beauty—a true playroom for my toddler, but one that also reflects the grandmillennial aesthetic and feels like a curated part of our home.

**Q: Help!! How can I Elle Woods-ify my work office?** *(in Home Decorating Conversations)*

I am looking for creative input on transforming my work office space!   
For context, I’m a litigation attorney, and this is my own private office at my firm. The furniture (shown in the photos) is all brand new and custom ordered—so while it CANNOT be 'replaced' at this point, I can rearrange pieces and/or remove/add some pieces. Admittedly, the wood furniture is more cramped than I expected (I already had to remove a bridge connecting the desk and hutched credenza to make it even fit,) but at this point, I have to make it work.   
Here’s the challenge:  

At home, I have a custom-built office that’s very feminine-- and very pink.
For my work office, I want to bring some of that same feminine energy into the space, but in a more toned-down, 'professional'  way.
I’m young and one of the only young lawyers in my firm/ honestly my profession (in a sea of older men), and I’ve learned to embrace my femininity instead of hiding it.
The goal is: professional and classy, with a feminine twist that still feels like me.

So basically trying to figure out an entire office 'design,' but I realize that is a large task so in particular, I’d love ideas on:

Color + décor: Ways to introduce softer, feminine elements that complement the existing furniture without being over the top.
Layout: Ideas for rearranging or editing the furniture so the office feels less cramped and more balanced.
Personal touches: I already plan to bring in diplomas, certificates, and personal photos, but I’d love creative input on actual placement and how to work them into the overall design so the space feels cohesive. I would also like to add an accent chair to the space as well- so definitely looking for specific ideas for that.
Finishing details: Rugs, curtains, plants, or lighting that could warm up the space and add personality.

I was in Arhaus the other day and found this chair.  It is a swivel glider and I LOVE the glider aspect of it and it was very comfortable.  Does anybody know of other similar chairs with a similar aesthetic?  I like the look of this chair but I find the very sharp angle of the arm a bit too much.

We just completed renovation on a rental property we own. We tried to add timeless and minimalist features so that it appeals to a wide audience, stands the test of time, and tenants can make it their own. We added in custom rift sawn oak cabinets to add warmth to the space. The tiles are all WOW Design. There is a custom built in replacing an old fireplace that would rarely be used here in Southern California. Overall I'm happy with the project and relieved it's over after so many bumps in the road. Thoughts?

I’m trying to figure out how to make a proportional range hood design for this wall on a half vault / shed / slope ceiling that has a 48 inch range because that was a priority to us by two pocket doors and cabinetry. I have the range should extend at least 3 inches be on the stove on either side and I’m worried that the cabinets which are currently 22 1/4 inch approximately wide are going to look too small. Should I consider eliminating the uppers altogether or will it look fine as is.
