> This store is a perfectly curated Industrial Cottage, with artful products in a very inspiring setting!
>
> Jennifer Maxcy is a joy to work with, very good intuition and that artist's eye, adding the perfect piece in the perfect place to make everything come together. I have been lucky enough to work with Jennifer at Hoot N Anny in the store making purchases, at my client's installs, and she styled our most recent photo shoot to absolute perfection. Next stop: Pasadeana Showcase House for the Arts 2014!
>
> In the shop and out, a truly evolved sytle eminates from Jennifer Maxcy and Hoot N Anny and I am proud to bring clients to this wonderful source and count myself SO lucky to have Jennifer as a resource, a truly curated, artful Industrial Cottage.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Love the cabinets on either side of the range. What material/cpy?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hi Grace! Glad you like them! These were from Four Hands company, they are actually dressers/cabinets that were the perfect size for the space.
W: 37" H: 35" D: 22" They are made from reclaimed wood . I may use them in our bathroom remodel too when we tackle that next!

**Q: Consigned Cowhide Wingback Chairs-Pair** *(in Product Questions)*

How much are these chairs please

A: Hello, thank you for your inquiry but do I apologize these have been sold already. I'll make sure the system gets updated.

**Q: Love the chairs! Where can I purchase?** *(in Product Questions)*

A: Hi Gretchen
This pair (sold) was one of a kind, designed for my store. www.hootnannyhome.com. thanks for your inquiry.

**Q: Need help for our living room** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Need help with the furniture placement. We want to change the upholstry of the grey sofa or should we replace this sofa with a more inviting sectional? Please note that there are L shaped windows on both opposite corners. We dont want to hide the beautiful outdoors with any piece of furniture with high back.

A: Hi 534d!
You need help! I'm not sure why none is commenting. I'm not an expert but I do have an eye. From the angles you posted, it may be most flattering to float the sofa towards the large window (assuming that's the focal point?) Anchor it with a rug and sofa table behind it.
Opposite the sofa you can incorporate a bench, ottomans or a pair of chairs. I'm not certain the scale of the furniture you have all complements one another without physically being in the space? If there's room, I'd make a separate conversation area by the fireplace. Looks like you can incorporate a bar cart situation and perhaps a desk for that laptop.
Tightly designated areas will help define this open concept space. It's a beautiful room to work with!!
Hope that helps until the pros find you!.

**Q: Accent table help!** *(in Design Dilemma)*

What accent table would you recommend for where the couch and love seat meet? I was thinking a square table 36"x36" and about 24" in height--can't find one! Any suggestions?

A: I would suggest round to break up the hard angles. Maybe pull the love seat out from the window/wall a few inches...Pretty room from what I can see!

**Q: Do not know how to decorate this OUTDATED dry bar!** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I am moving into an older apartment that has a mirrored dry bar taking up one wall of the living room walls. I feel like it cheapens the apartment by making it look outdated. There is SO much counter and shelf space. If the mirror were not behind it It wouldnt feel so old. Even if I used it to stock some of my wine bottles and some wine glasses there is SO much more space to be used. Decorations? frames? I am a college student and open to fun or sophisticated ideas.

A: Great ideas!
If you want to save money...I suggest you either take the mirror down and paint a fun/elegant chalkboard wall, perhaps frame it out. OR if you keep the mirror, I would take the shelves down and replace with chunky salvaged wood shelves OR (the most inexpensive) take the glass shelves down and cover the old strip bracket with two long pieces of interesting artwork and keep the mirror in tact. OR I liked that idea of tall vases and willow branches to cover those old brackets as well! Good luck!!
