The project also included a staircase up to the mezzanine (one did not exist previously), a wall of bamboo in the bedroom, and the creation of a wall division for the bedroom (previously the bedroom was relatively open). Nima's design was innovative, creative, and modern while keeping with my taste. I verbally gave him ideas and then showed him a few designs that I liked (from loft design books) and he ran with it. I can't tell you how many compliments I get on the design when really the credit should go to Nima. ONY stayed on budget and the projected time frame? Nima also helped me choose materials to keep within my budget. I also hired him to manage the construction process and he made sure the contractor was sticking to agreed timelines. I agreed to anything price-wise beforehand and there were no surprises. Nima is not only a great architect, but he also has an eye for design. He helped me choose wall sconces, pendant lights, wall colors, and other materials.
