Our mission at Golden Gate Palms and Exotics is to create paradise for our customers. Our Richmond nursery is home to the largest selection of palms in the Northern California. In addition to selling, installing, and maintaining palm trees, we offer a variety of exotic landscaping plants to complete the tropical look, as well as landscape consultation and design services.

**Q: What is the amazing tree in the background? I really love it!** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Well, there are a few magnificent trees in the background, but I'm guessing that the attractive silvery-blue, mounded foliage of the Cussonia paniculata, or Mountain Cabbage Tree, in the far right of the photo has caught your eye. This plant is a real showstopper, with gorgeous coloring, intricate foliage, and an intriguing shape. Here's a link to an article with great information about the species:
