Thank you for this great review! **★★★★★ — Cindy Gustafson, Feb. 2025** > We recently completed a "forced remodel" due to a massive water "event" which affected all three levels of our home. > After submitting the claim to our insurance company, we realized that this was going to be a very complex repair and at the same time an opportunity to fix some things about our home that became evident as we examined what needed repair and what adjacent areas would look like after that. We had hired a water mitigation contractor to do the work, and at the last minute, just days before they were to start, they bailed and said it was too complicated. I called Boyer Building as they had been doing work in our area for decades with a great reputation and within one day Joe F. came out and examined everything and said to me: "We will take of you" Within the following week he had every subcontractor specialty out to look at every aspect of our complicated repair. We have an old house, with previous DIY done in some areas. They started the work in earnest and within a few weeks as was estimated, the majority of the work was done within about 8 weeks. From Bill who was our project manager, who was on site almost every day managing every detail, to Joe who was an expert with demo and rebuilding, trim work, removing and re installing multiple built-in closets and everything else imageable it is like we have a new home! Every specialty sub-contractor was needed in this repair, requiring multiple visits to complete and it was amazing how smoothly things worked. We had our kitchen, three bathrooms and an entire basement remodeled. Nothing but praises from us for Boyer Building! They rescued us from a difficult situation, worked with insurance, was timely, helped to creatively fix complex issues and stayed until completion. We started talking with Boyer and decided not to talk with anyone else. We changed every piece of trim, every door, all of the flooring in addition to expanding our dining room, changing our stairway railing, turning our powder bath into a much needed pantry, a kitchen redo, and bumping out into our oversized garage to create a new 3/4 bath and back hall closet. Boyer found solutions to fix and address everything we wanted to change after so many years. Even though we kept adding to the scope of work during the project, Boyer was able to manage the project and still complete it on time. We learned that a reputable builder also has good subs and they were key to taking care of all of the details.
