**Q: Minimum Dimension Required?** *(in Product Questions)*

What is the dimension from the top of the door to the top of the mounting hardware?  This will help determine if this product will work for the opening I have above the door in my basement.

A: Hi Rob- I believe the piece is a hitching post iron ring.  It is vintage so I am uncertain  what it was really intended for.  It seemed to fit the client and the project perfectly.
