**★★★★★ — Brett Olinger, Oct. 2019**

> I worked with Mark and Lucia on a really innovative, modern project in DC. The company I work for, Century Stair Company, was the stair supplier employed by the builder and worked closely with Mark and Lucia to achieve the vision they had for the client's dream home. Mark and Lucia are extremely detail-oriented and thorough. With their help and guidance, I was able to work with them and the homeowners to achieve the look they wanted. On top of that, they were great people. Extremely professional and a pleasure to work with!

**★★★★★ — Palindrome Design, LLC, Oct. 2014**

> I have worked on several projects with Aggregate Architecture, and I was fortunate to recently collaborate with them on a large custom home in Washington, DC.
>
> The house is a real stunner! They worked closely with the clients to help them translate their vision from a concept into a reality. The house is exquisite: large, impressive spaces that are sophisticated and elegant. The level of detail in Aggregate's design is first-rate.

 - Description: This innovative three-story staircase showcases engineering and design in perfect harmony. Each level cantilevers from two central spine beams, creating a floating effect that spans the entire vertical space. Thick dark-stained oak treads appear to hover without visible support, while the absence of risers maintains complete transparency. The defining feature is the glass landings at each level. Combined with the open-riser design, these transparent platforms allow natural light to cascade freel…

## Community Q&A

**Q: where were the inside stem railings purchased?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I had to remove the wooden stair railings in my 100 yrs. old home to get my king size headboard for my bed upstairs. I want to replace the removed railings with wrought iron ones. I love the design of the railings in the photo & would like to purchase them.

A: The railing was custom made by a local metalworker. But I would suggest looking at Julius Blum's website. They have many metal railing components.

**Q: bathroom cabinet/wall paint color** *(in Photo Questions)*

Hi, would you mind sharing this bathroom cabinet/wall paint color? Thank you

A: I believe the cabinet white is Benjamin Moore Simply White. OC-117.

**Q: What is used to make the backsplash.?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: It is Bursa Beige in a Herringbone pattern

**Q: What material are the countertops** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Botticino Fiorito

**Q: What brand and style are the cabinets?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: The cabinets are custom designed & fabricated.

**Q: Gorgeous. What is the color of cabinets, counter top and backsplash?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Thank you - We teamed with Palindrome Design on the project. It was a real team effort to make this happen for the homeowners.
