Restoration team progressed handing off the baton to each department responsible for each phase of the restoration.and keeping us informed, daily, with phone calls letting us know they were on their way literally each day, and what they were planning on accomplishing. One month later, it was on fire and needed to be gutted and demolished. We were devastated. While I navigated our insurance, the fire investigation, and public adjusters reaching out to us, she began to look around for anyone in the area who could help with fire damage and restoration. Meanwhile, Steve and his team of contractors did a fabulous job restoring the house—not just back to it’s natural 120+ year New England charm, but rebuilt better and more efficient than ever with straighter lines and more space everywhere it was possible. He hand-built the stairs himself, came in many off days to tackle anything he could, and was willing to tackle any concern big or small to the very end. He was even patient and diligent with multiple change orders, including some necessary architectural updates to add an extra room over an awkward previous addition. We had multiple contractors in to make repairs but only M.A. Restoration did the job right. The insurance company wanted to cut out a piece and go cheap. M.A. Restoration insisted that the floor be removed and then refinish the entire first floor. So they don't compromise on quality. Then they completed the job TWO WEEKS AHEAD OF SCHEDULE. They also had a cleaning crew come in when done. The quality of their work is fantastic. Bill the project manager visited the project regularly to make sure things were moving along and well done. He also communicated with me regularly and I always received a call before workers arrived. Such PROFESSIONALISM and QUALITY are difficult to find. They may not be the lowest price but their quality and attention to detail and customer service is above all others.
