Both graduated in 1993 from Mount Vernon High School in Alexandria, Virginia, and were members of the varsity football team when they began their friendship. Krisjan’s experience working in grounds maintenance at the Mount Vernon Country Club and Phil’s discipline and strong business sense formed the foundation for an ideal partnership, and the two began working together in 1997. After only 10 years in business, they had grown Kingstowne Lawn & Landscape into one of the most recognized landscape brands in Northern Virginia—with annual gross revenues of more than $5 million. In early 2008, Krisjan purchased Phil’s share of the corporation and became sole owner of Kingstowne Lawn & Landscape. While he was disappointed to see Phil go, Krisjan knew that he was ready to write the next chapter of the Kingstowne story. We charge a non-refundable $50 consultation fee, taken by credit card when the appointment is scheduled. This fee can be applied toward a signed landscape contract of $1000 or more. For this fee, you can expect one of our landscape designers to meet you on a specific day and time. The designer will walk the property with you to discuss your concerns and review options available to you. A detailed proposal will be prepared based on measurements and materials necessary for your project. Consultation appointments are available between 9 am and 4 pm, Monday through Friday. \*Currently, we are booking appointments approximately two weeks out. A Master Plan, if desired, is available for a separate fee. The cost is determined by your landscape designer and is based on the scope and complexity of the design. Your designer will discuss this with you in greater detail at your consultation if needed.
