**Q: What brand are the faux ceiling tiles** *(in Photo Questions)*

I love this idea for a backsplash.  I'd love to know where to get these tiles.  Were they hard to glue on?

A: Thank you !  The kitchen backsplash is done with the Mirroflex decorative laminates.  Model Boston and the finish is brushed nickel.  They are sold in different patterns, finishes and size (24'' x 48'') (4' x 8') etc.  Easy to glue and inexpensive $5.95 cnd /s.f.

**Q: what is the wood?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hello Robin Kranich !
The wood essence for the wall & the kitchen island planks comes from conifers either pine, fir or spruce.  My dad wasn't sure.  I'm not to helpful here Am I ?

**Q: Doesn't the open design create a privacy issue with the bathroom?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Cathedral ceilings are fantastic space openers, but when it comes to creating rooms under a single ceiling (like this one), it becomes a challenge to create roomed under it "after the fact".  This bathroom is a perfect example of the obvious trade offs....

A: I thought about that ... but I wanted to keep it all open, besides ... the bathroom is big and the toilet is hidden in a corner behind the shower, creating enough privacy for my needs ;-D)))

A: The shelves stays stabled on the pipes because of it's design

**Q: You mentioned you'll be putting in plywood floors...** *(in Photo Questions)*

We used plywood that is pine one side (sanded) and had the sheets ripped to 8" planks. We then used contractor glue and brad nails to install them like plank flooring. They look awesome! We left the natural colour and used latex varathane to protect, so that they stay light.
