Refined Interiors is a full-scale interior design firm founded by Elizabeth Herger and Rachel Rodden in 2013. Starting this exciting venture came after a combined 30 years in the design industry.  Our design team is best known for creating clean, classic interiors that stand the test of time. We are inspired by our client's lifestyle, heirlooms and travels giving each client a comfortable and functional space that feels as if it has always been a part of their home.

> Our realtor recommended Refined Interiors to my husband and I as she had previously worked with Elizabeth Herger and Rachel Rodden.   Our new house was being built during covid, and it was wonderful that Elizabeth and Rachel made the buying of items so easy that we did not have to leave our home.  They reviewed the layout of the new house and asked us which items we wanted to keep to move to the new house.  We purchased some new furniture, rugs, lamps, and artwork as we were moving from a traditional house to an open flow house plan.  Elizabeth and Rachel used 3D technology to help place the furniture before we moved into the new house.   They selected fabrics, furniture, rugs, and artwork for us to approve before purchasing them.  Elizabeth and Rachel were responsive to questions, budget, and needs of our family.  Also, they recommended contacts (handyman, furniture refinishing, and glass cutter) for us to use.  Now that the downstairs is completed we are looking forward to updating the upstairs loft and bedrooms. My husband and I have received many compliments on our home, and we highly recommend Refined Interiors for anyone building or redoing their house.

> Rachel & Elizabeth have been (and continue to be) fantastic.  They are superb with colors and knowing the how to make a room look really good (colors, patterns, placement, et al), yet not like it came from page 1 of a certain catalogue.  They strike a good balance between filling a room appropriately vs having it be too cluttered and they pick up on nuances of how the client / homeowner lives.  They are very kind and responsive, while being flexible with a client's time.  Their third-party partners are excellent, as well.  The project completion date was for the initial phase of work that started during the pandemic.  I have been so pleased with their work that we will continue into additional phases.
