He handled an extensive list of tasks independently with exceptional attention to detail. > > The renovation started with Dan handling the controlled demolation of a water damaged peak roof and rebuilding it as a slanted roof. Dan also took care of the demolition of lathe and plaster walls, tongue and groove ceiling, and damaged sections of flooring. > > He completed all the interior framing, insulation, drywall, flooring, kitchen cabinets, countertops, and major appliance installations. He installed all new plumbing, including the toilet, tub with shower surround, and sinks. In addition to the structural work, he meticulously restored and installed the original trim, and arched ceiling preserving the historic charm of the home. I was the Design Consultant, hired to design and oversee the project. It was a challenging task to install cabinets on uneven floors, walls that weren't square and a ceiling that was only 84 inches. Dan overcame many obstacles such as briddle subfloors, that had to be rebuild, existing build-ins that were so out of square that the new cabinets would not lign up to it.
