We are now going on 5 weeks with a 5x6 bathroom not completed. My mother and I have no shower for 5 weeks! They had said the bathroom should take 7-10 days. The owner Anthony said he was preparing our tile and never did. We ended up having to select another tile which the store they referred us to did not carry merola tile (originally sent). The plumber arrived with a white tub when we said beige/bone. They arrived with a chrome shower when we stated all black fixtures and shower. We we’re promised a full demo, neesh Box, and exhaust fan. They took up one floor tile and left the original flooring and began to layer tile on top. We have 3 wholes in 3 different rooms from the demo guys banging so hard. I hope my tile does not come up. We have no exhaust fan and no neesh box. They built a shelf because they “forgot during the demo”. Lots of cancellations bc sonny had an emergency or had to take the van. They hooked me up with an architect, which worked out really well for the planning and NYC Department of buildings paperwork and permit processing. I ended up working with Anthony, who had plenty ideas how to approach the new roof over our patio, and the creating a new full bathroom in the basement. He took a personal interest in all aspects of the job and was courteous and accessible throughout the project alll the way to completion. Straight forward guy with good connections in the trade.
