> I read every review about Kitt and they are all so right on I could have written every one. Kitt touched almost every room but did a major remodel of the kitchen and 2 bathrooms. The most daunting part for me  was how to find the right person to work with.  She incorporated my wish list and alot of my furnishings into a cozy, show stopper that I have to pinch myself everyday that I was able to work with her.  Whether it be color, design, furniture, wallpaper selection or the artisans who made the magic under her direction it was all as they say "As Good As It Gets"! Thank You Kitt! > Wow!  What can I say about Kitt...she "got" us!  Kitt and our contractor Rich Lopez worked together in sync to turn our outdated house into a warm and inviting home. We lovingly called Kitt and Rich - the Dream Team! Our remodel included gutting our kitchen, changing a pantry into a bar, moving our front door forward five feet and designing a dutch door, new hardwood flooring, carpets, painting,  building a banquette in our newly styled billiard room and more.  Kitt is a true professional with extensive contacts in the industry and I looked forward to each meeting with anticipation of what she had selected for our home...whether it be paint, fabric, hardware or tile. She has the ability - vision - to see what you have and what it could be. One of Kitt's greatest assets is to listen to what is important  and special and somehow find a way to incorporate it into your home. For instance, we have a Scottish/English heritage, so Kitt selected a plaid rug and Tower of London hardware. She has a true gift.

> Kitt made our kitchen remodel unbelievably low stress with an end product we are delighted with.  We bought a home with a large kitchen that had most of the features we wanted, but the layout was awkward and made it difficult for two people to work together, much less to allow other family members to hang around without getting in the way. . We told Kitt our price point and the must haves and very much would likes and style preference (one of us wanted french country and the other modern).  She produced two design options that met our requirements within our budget range. We chose one and asked from thereon out that Kitt provide no more than a few options for all other decisions that had to be made to minimize the time and energy we had to devote to this process.   For some decisions, I asked her to decide without out input. We also requested that all of the work be done during a period that we were mostly away. Kitt made all this happen (working with Rich Lopez, her contractor) and we have a beautiful kitchen that has what we wanted and which enjoyable and comfortable to be in.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Siding Colour** *(in Design Dilemma)*

We want to update the exterior with some new siding.  Brick colour is grey.  Thinking about grey for siding for unity with lots of white trim to give it some pop.  We would eliminate shutters.  We also plan to update the railing on the front porch.   Any suggestions for siding colour, porch update?

A: If you are traditional style I would have the siding the lighter of the warm gray in brick.  White trim for sure.  Porch railing would be a criss cross X pattern, over scaled and repeated 3 times across front , It will open porch up to view a white bench with toss pillows in a outdoor fabric stripe( color could be Red and white or Black and White both are timeless).   Repeat the X pattern in Carriage like garage door painted white. New lantern style light fixers in black and keep the shutters for sure painted white!   Hope this helps!!

Who made cabinets?

A: Thank You for your interest, the cabinets were custom designed and made here locally in Sacramento.  My contractor is Rich Lopez Cabinet Tree.  The wood is Alder and the finish is Creme base with an Espresso glaze hung up in the grooves.

A: The color on the walls is Sherwin Williams Humble Gold SW6380....It makes the house glow! But not too bright!  What do you think?
