From the initial phone call, she was presented a professional and easy-going demeanor and offered both creative advice and scheduling expertise to meet our tight 6-month timeline. Leah is honest and very easy to work with on a project. > Working with Cascade Design Center, Leah was our main point of contact on the overall scheduling of trades and she managed the project with great precision. Initial budgets and timelines were presented in a timely manner and revisions were communicated in the same way. Throughout the project, we had every confidence that Leah was working everyone to meet our timeline and to accommodate our design requests. > Our overall remodel consisted of creating a great room from several smaller/traditional spaces and creating two en-suites from a traditional Jack-and-Jill shared bedroom/bathroom. The bathroom project as quite a puzzle, but the end result provides us with two en-suite guest rooms with elegant/usable stand-up showers. Leah is creative with her design problem-solving -- even offering a unique solution to providing our primary bedroom with built-in shelves that would act as bedside tables. > We did not have a lot of material preferences in mind when we began the project, and this required Leah to listen to our overall design preferences/styles and then offer a variety of suggestions that both met our tastes but also fit the overall design and feel of the house. Choices were presented with budget in mind but where needed, she was great an encouraging us to explore other options. She helped us with flooring (hardwood/carpet/tile), paint color, kitchen counters and bathroom fixture selections. In addition, we requested her advice on lighting fixtures and great room furnishings. The end result is stunning and incredibly cohesive. Rather than offering a wide variety of suggestions (that would have confused us and wasted our time) she narrowed it down to only few that were perfect and according to our wishes. This is a dilemma we are facing in our building project. I want the rock to wrap around the sides of the fireplace but want a built-in too. A: In this installation, the cabinets were custom built and installed unfinished before the natural stone façade went onto the fireplace.
