I see pre-drilled holes on the side of one** *(in Photo Questions)* A: The shelves are a custom design I helped design with a closet company. The holes make the shelves adjustable. This attic was unfinished and my client decided to finish the space by adding drywall, carpet, storage shelving and cabinets for off season storage. Atlanta has a lot of custom closet companies to choose from. This was installed by Spacemakers. I also like Artisan Custom Closets, Closets by Design and Creative Closets. I always recommend getting multiple estimates & designs from multiple companies to choose what you like best. They all have something unique to choose from too. **Q: Weird Space off Living Room** *(in Design Dilemma)* I have 6'x7' nook off my liviing room. It has a gas fireplace and some build-in cabnets. It is a junk storage space now, but I'd like to make it into something functional and cool. Thoughts? A: I would turn it into a library or a simple home office. **Q: Exterior color dilemma** *(in Design Dilemma)* My husband is color blind so the color decision has been left to me and I'm nervous to say the least. I'm thinking a green/grey. What do you think. I'm wanting something to blend into the bush land setting rather than stand out. I'm open to suggestions A: I agree. Our granite counter tops (Alaska white) were installed last week and now we are ready to tackle the backsplash! Would anyone have any ideas of a backsplash design that would work with our color palette? The opposite side are all closet. How can I put TV on? One option is to move closet doors against two sides wall and enlarge the wall between closets. A: Awesome TV cabinet ideas groveraxle! **Q: am selling this house in the spring- need kitchen opinions,pls!** *(in Design Dilemma)* No one likes the wallpaper, i love it, but am afraid it will prohibit getting my asking price. I will use y'all for other rooms, as well. Right now, i was advised to replace white appliances with stainless, to get rid of the wall paper, to go to a black and white granite, rather than this white solid surface. Also, was going to put a stainless farmer's sink in, if i follow this advice. Have to get premium price in spring. (It's on a golf course, good area) Just breaks my heart, stainless shows every mark, and i do love the wallpaper. But, we have gotten lots of criticism per wall paper. A: I would definitely remove any wall paper around the house and paint with neutral colors. De-clutter and remove anything that is personal, such as, family photos, crafts,... and replace with subtle art or photography.
