> I am very disappointed to have to give a negative review for Palmer Todd. I placed a $5,000.00 deposit on a project and later had to cancel the project for personal reasons. I was told there would be no refund since the deposit was to be applied toward the purchase of cabinets. I asked Christi Palmer (designer and owner) if there was a solution since I would not be able to complete the project and I never received a response.

**Comment from Palmer Todd:**

> Please allow me to clarify the information posted regarding services related to Palmer Todd.  The fee paid to Palmer Todd was for design services not a deposit.  The Project price range stated above is not correct as you were building a brand new high end home that was planned to be in excess of 8,000 square feet.  Upon your initial visit to our showroom, with your Interior Designer, the products and services offered by Palmer Todd were explained in detail prior to your agreement to proceed with our design services.  An immediate response was made to you by Palmer Todd in 2010 regarding your request of the status of your design retainer.  The response stated that the design retainer will be credited in full towards the purchase of Downsview cabinets when ordered through Palmer Todd, Inc.  Please contact me if you would like to move forward with your project and apply the design retainer towards the purchase of Downsview cabinets through Palmer Todd.
