> Glickman Schlesinger Architects ("GSA") designed and drafted a museum quality art gallery space for us. The $1 million 4,000 SF facility included back office operations and required electrical, HVAC, and lighting design as well. All engineering, construction and NYC permitting and inspections were managed professionally and efficiently by GSA. GSA was flexible and responsive to our requests. It was a pleasure to work with the firm. We highly recommend GSA for any of your design and/or architecture needs.

> We loved working with Adam and Lauren as our architects. Young, hip, parents to similar aged children, they really understood our needs and desires as a young family who wanted a home that was aesthetically beautiful but also truly live-able. They were practical with great taste in decor and design. Easy to talk with, responsive, professional, stylish and kind!

> I contractred Glickman Schlesinger Architects to redo my bathroom. They were of great help both with all practical matters and gving me some good ideas.
> The project took place in the summer 2018 and their cost was reasonable.

> Total transformation of two Tudor City apts., from traditional conservative to hyper chic. Lauren and Adam are wizards at re-envisioning space with an amazing combination of practicality and beauty. Attention to detail, care for the work, new and fresh ideas and a top notch style and taste. Kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, closet space, floors, woodwork, flow, lighting, A/V, all woven together into a showcase apt. that is a pleasure to walk into on a daily basis (and show off to friends and family).

> GSDO renovated our 3-bedroom Manhattan condo with new kitchen, three bathrooms, built-ins, doors and other elements. The result was fabulous. Every room ties together; and the design is flawless. We wanted modern but not severely so; we wanted functionality and got a kitchen with a place for everything; we wanted modern bathrooms with colorful tiles and we wanted much better lighting throughout. We are so happy living in our new space. As for GSDO's professionalism, Lauren had great taste, was kind, smart, observant, a great listener, and patient with us first-time renovators. We highly recommend GSDO.

> We did an extensive owner duplex townhouse renovation wherein the use of the floors were flipped (living space moved upstairs, bedrooms downstairs). We also added 2 bedrooms to now have a 3 bedroom / 2 bath space (was 1 bed / 2 bath). Their suggestions unlocked the potential of the house and transformed our living experience. We get so much light in our living space now and walk into an expansive living/dining area that allows us to see and enjoy the outdoor space from our main floor. The downstairs/basement where there is less light and height is now so much more suited to sleeping.

> With professional hires, I've always found that most have a tendency to nickel and dime or up charge especially with change orders. Lauren and Adam were especially generous with their time and talent while staying within budget. No question or concern was too small and I really am extremely thankful that you've connected us with them. We are looking to do phase 2 (outdoors!) and will definitely hire them again.

> As to be expected, there were a few curve balls throughout the project all were handled extremely well by Lauren and Adam. I really felt they cared and owned the relationship with the contractor. With changes through the project I also felt they treated us fairly and with respect. They were always on top of our questions and were good at communication, especially Lauren. We had a tight budget and they offered creative solutions that worked within our constraints.

As part of this adaptive reuse project, Glickman Schlesinger Architects designed two apartments on the second floor of this building (and the pre-school on the ground floor). In both apartments, the original ceilings which had been covered up were restored and paint on joists and columns was removed to reveal the natural wood of the original heavy timber structure. Its stance is wider than its cousin, but Skinny hides its strength in the same way, its structure seemingly non-existent. 36” wide by 76” long by 29” tall. Available in custom sizes as well. - Description: An Honoree of Interior Design Magazine's Best of 2011 Awards, Slot is a refined take on the sawhorse table and provides plenty of legroom. By taking advantage of the strength of steel legs and a thick solid wood slab, the bulk of the table’s structure is concealed and only the elegant lines of the top and legs remain. Two openings in the tabletop highlight the seamless joining of the wood and metal and bring the beauty of the wood’s end grain to the center of the table. At the same time, the slo…

  - Description: Glickman Schlesinger Architects was asked to gut-renovate a three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment that had not been touched in decades for a husband and wife in their mid-thirties. When shopping for the apartment, the couple needed to stay close to the husband’s work in order for him to easily come home during lunchtime to help his wife, who is in a wheelchair. The only apartments available were in typical 1960’s apartment towers, where the apartments consist of small rooms, narrow hallways, and…

  - Description: In 2006, Glickman Schlesinger Architects gut-renovated this Tudor City apartment, converting a two-bedroom into a one-bedroom apartment with an office and sleeping area to meet the owner’s needs. In 2011, the owner bought the adjacent apartment and wanted to combine it with his old apartment without disturbing the original renovation. Glickman Schlesinger Architects replaced the one bedroom with two new bedrooms, a new master bathroom, built-in millwork and new lighting throughout.
