She's smart, efficient, dependable and trustworthy! Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about this up-and-coming design star! Our family loves her ideas & appreciates her being 100% in control of our vision. We are a busy family and we never had to worry because Jordan was always present during our renovations. From the start, to the finish... there she is!!! She is capable of anything & everything. We want to update the outside and enhance the curb appeal. Would love some ideas from all of you! We are looking to paint the house. Can't decide on color. Husband wants to keep the white, I'm on the fence with maybe going with a dark gray. Color ideas? The deck needs to be restored. Looking for ideas to update the railing of the deck. Would still like to have the privacy aspect. Also the stairs leading up to the front door need to be redone for safety reasons. New light fixture Any and all ideas of how to bring our old homes charm back! A: Wouldn’t some plush vines be beautiful ? Soften up some of those harsh lines and flat surfaces ? Maybe some jasmine wrapping up the carport column and covering all of the balcony wall ? Might not be your style, but could be pretty! **Q: UK Designer Scam** *(in Design Dilemma)* Ruth Smith is who she says she is. Any other designers been contacted by her to set up their newly purchased home? A: I can’t believe I was the only fool naive enough to fall for this! I was also contacted by the infamous Joanna Zach ... she sent pictures, blah blah, etc. So many red flags looking back on it... 1st : the photos of items they purchased were just painfully ugly. 2: she wouldn’t give me the address. Her verbiage was a way off. I’m embarrassed to admit it ... but I fell for it. They mailed me a check and explained that they had added on extra funds in order for me to pay the movers. I really didn’t think much of it... until they clarified that I was to pay to movers via electronic transfer. At this point I had already deposited the check, but made sure not to touch any of that green. When she started getting pushy about me “depositing movers payment” I realized it was sketchy ! I went into bank to confirm . Money had temporarily deposited but the check was indeed fraudulent !! Capital One gave me a break but if I would have actually spent any of that money or transferred it to the movers account (Joanna) they would have dropped my account, I would have had to come out of pocket to repay, and it would have put a significant hit on my credit. Moral of the story. She almost screwed me MAJOR ! Lesson learned. Because I took it so far.... she gave me the account name and account number that was to receive funds. I would assume that’s his/her account, right ?? Could that info be used to track her down ? I found “Joanna Zack” on facebook in London.
