## Community Q&A

**Q: What Do I Do With This Huge Bare Wall In My Living Room?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Its been almost 3 years that I have lived with this bare wall only because I don't know how to decorate it.  I think I want trim design with a new paint color but am open to any contemporary/transitional ideas.

A: Having some large framed black and white photography on that wall might be easier to coordinate with furnishings than a large and colorful painting. You could do three large framed photos and then add color elsewhere.  I would also do something with those speakers - either covers for them that blend into the wall better or move them entirely.

the gound floor of the villa has many cement columns, who we can design this?

A: You could also build in shelving that helps to integrate the columns into spaces. It looks like it will be challenging in some of the smaller rooms but I think if you bring in a design professional it could be made to work very nicely.
