We used a clear penetrating wax like Osmo. **Q: How did you attached the breakfast bar to the worktop?** *(in Photo Questions)* Are there brackets underneath, or is it somehow fixed directly to the worktop? A: There are 3 square tube steel brackets (custom made) that are fit into slots in the bottom of the slab and that extend down into the back of the cabinet. **Q: what light has been used above the cabinets?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: It is actually a very simple LED rope light on a switched circuit above the cabinets. These lights are not expensive and are widely available in different lengths on the internet or elec supply houses. A: The white counters are Caesarstone Ice and the wood is a walnut live edge slab sourced locally. There are many sources for wood slabs in the US and Canada.
