If I could give them no stars I would have. We were all ready to start a kitchen remodel when they began to pull a "bait and switch" and gave us a final estimate that was thousands of dollars higher than their original estimate. When we questioned the increase in the costs in areas where there was no change from the initial estimate (especially in plumbing and electrical) it took two weeks to get a reply that was very flimsy. When we did not go forward, although with all the time spent in their showroom and on Zoom meetings it should have been clear we were ready to, no one ever again reached out to us. Here we were ready to do business with them and they dropped us like a hot potato. This organization gives the impression of being very professional but beware - they were out to screw us out of several thousand dollars. A: Hello Susan, The material that was used on this countertop was soapstone. This peticular piece was and usually is a dark blueish grey in its natural state. It almost looks black. You can also use a mineral oil to make it look more black than blueish grey and it will help seal it better.
