> My wife and I bought a lake lot near Vergas, MN.  Kelli was our first call once we bought the lot, because we knew she has years of experience with lake home and cabin design.  We worked with Kelli for several months in the winter of 2014-2015 making sure all the details were correct for our lake cabin.  Kelli was VERY valuable when it came to budgeting, space planning, overall cabin layout and helping with the exterior materials.  We can't say enough for the process we went through with her.  It really helped my wife and I sort out what we really wanted of the cabin, our family time and time at the lake.  Kelli really understand how a lake home functions.  Kelli is very easy to communicate with and has knows all the (good) contractors in the lakes area.  She is always willing to meet on our schedule and she follows up with you in a timely and accurate matter.  Her plans are very clear, her specification booklets was very helpful and her communication style is casual and effective.  Our home was about $450K and the money we paid Kelli to help with the design was money very well spent.   Worth every penny!

She also provides us beautiful full color 3D renderings of the outside of the house as well as the interior of the family room. Is this chalkboard set up available for purchase or was it a custom job?

Hi all,
Apparently Mantis Fireplace inserts are a fairly new product, and have a high efficiency (natural gas) rating. I am very tempted to get one, but I cannot find many reviews out there. Anybody know anything about them?

A: Good in theory- problems with venting and the u it will sometimes not turn on (depending on which way the wind is blowing). Nothing but problems, but is great when it actually works. I’m trying to find a replacement unit, nothing fits with my GRANITE one piece surround. If anyone finds a replacement unit of similar size please post!!!!
