> Nice furniture.  Very challenging process.  We said we wanted to change our color scheme (green).  She recommended the same color scheme anyway for our kitchen, living room, landing, and chair.  We asked to course correct.  She refused even though we had paid over $10K for the design.  Attempted to stop working with us because there wasn’t a “fit” because we didn’t like what we said we didn’t like upfront.  Same thing happened again later.  She recommended an extremely dark paint for the entirety of our kitchen (the same thing she has in her own house in House Beautiful).  However, we indicated a preference for more light.  Again, she refused to work with us to change it.  As a result, a number of the items she had recommended became irrelevant.  She refused to help us update and did not develop any sort of transition plan, indicating “there is nothing wrong with your design.”  As a result, our project was partially complete.  Dining room and kitchen look largely the same as before.

She has a delightful personality that adds a dose of fun to working with her.  Heidi guided us through a kitchen and bathroom remodel of our Capitol Hill residence, as well as choosing furniture and furnishings throughout the house.

> I cannot recommend working with Heidi enough. She's extremely warm and funny and listens carefully to your actual needs. After meeting her and walking her through our home she immediately recognized all the issues we had with the awkward layout. We ended up going through two different designs due to some engineering work we had not anticipated, and though all the changes she was upbeat and was able to troubleshoot anything else out old home threw at us. Our remodel was finished a little over a month ago and I can say that all of our top wants were completely met as far as family and layout needs. Through the whole process Heidi responded quickly to any emails or texts we sent her and we always felt like she was there whenever we needed her help.

> Heidi played a central role in our home renovation.  She helped during conceptual design, suggesting wall and room layout changes that we went ahead with and are so happy we did in retrospect.  Once we had a basic layout set, she developed detailed floor plans and elevations with material and fixtures notations.  We did not stray much from that initial package she produced.  While some pieces had to be dialed back due to budget constraints, we loved the palette and design she presented.

Design presentations were clear and well thought out. We completed stage 1 of our remodel in August of 2016.
